Minerva McGonagal, the newest Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was worried. The war against Voldemort had ended over a year ago. All the students had gone through almost a full year of school, with those who should have been in 7th year the year of the war coming back and taking classes with the current 7th years. It should have been a year of joy, a year of peacefulness, yet the Slytherins and Gryffindors still fought in the middle of the halls.
The worst part of this was that Hermione Granger seemed to be the only Gryffindor who found a problem with this. Hermione had actually come to talk to her the night before, hoping that the the headmistress could help. After a day of worrying over it, the only thing that resulted was a horrible headache.
She sighed to herself before deciding to visit her neice, Victoria, a brilliant squib who lived in muggle London. Maybe someone with a different background would be able to put a new spin on this problem. She used floo powder to get to The Leaky Cauldron, moving onto the streets of London and taking the Underground to her niece's stop. When Victoria answered the door, Minerva was given a huge hug, and then hurried into the flat.
"Sorry Aunt Minnie, my show is on, luckily it's a commercial. You gotta see this."
"This?" Minerva asked.
"It's called Big Brother. These people are all living together in a house cut off from the outside world. At first they dislike each other, but they are put through these crazy little tests and people are voted off, and they end up bonding. It's pretty amazing. They're videotaped constantly in every room but the bathrooms."
"Big Brother, hmmm? Now that's an idea. I need to go talk to the Minister. I'll see you later Victoria." Minerva left the apartment as quickly as she had come, leaving behind a very confused neice, but she had an idea for the first time all day.

Thus begins the setup of my story. Next chapter will introduce you to the contestants on the show, all of which will be recent Hogwarts grads (aka, Harry or Ginny's years), they will be from any house. Place a vote saying who you would like to see in the house. I'm going to make this at least partially interactive, so let me know who you want in, later I will go along with who wants to be voted out. On top of that, if you have any favorite competitions, let me know and I'll see if I can work them in.
