What do you think? I'm not exactly sure, I really liked the idea, but I'm only halfway with how it turned out… hmmm? What do you all think of couples calling each other 'love'? I can't decide romantic or annoying? I'd love some feedback!

Love and kisses,

He was a blanket whore. Well, that's what she liked to tell him, since their marriage the couple had yet to find the perfect 'sleep balance'. They both liked it cold when they slept, they'd start all cozy under the covers, but by 1:30 in the morning James would've wrapped the sheets, the comforter, and the quilt around himself into a large cocoon. Lily tried in vain to unravel a blanket or two; she'd even attempted sleeping on the couch, but to no use. She couldn't sleep without his presence, and the minute she'd left he'd wake up missing her deep breathing.

This night was no different.

Lily woke with her hair on end from the cold. She could just make out the shape of her husband next to her, she could see the blankets on the other side of him; it looked like he'd just pulled them off of her and threw them to the side.

Typical she thought.

She moved closer, attempting to reach around him for a blanket, but as she did, a heavy arm wrapped around her waist.

"C'mere you" James said sleepily, he pulled her into his chest.

She smiled into the darkness, "You stole my blankets."

"I do that every night," he answered amusedly.

"Yea I noticed."

As they talked Lily snuggled closer to him, he was so warm! He usually slept in just boxers, so she felt the full onslaught of his body heat. She placed her frozen hands on his chest, he made a hissing sound, she giggled—and pressed her toes to his shins, he bent his head to the crook of her neck and nipped her ear for her 'cruelty'. She felt his hot steady breathing on her neck, and nuzzled closer.

"I think we found our balance Lil" James whispered sleepily.

"Mhmmm…." Lily confirmed before drifting off to sleep.
