Up high into the mountains of Middle Earth...although since they're high up...Upper Earth? Up high in the mountains of Upper Earth, on top of an active volcano fought two people. Well...one person and a freaky looking dude with an odd voice. The two were fighting over the ring that...controlled the others or something like that. It was a fancy ring, good enough.
The weird guy tackled the short dude and prepared to bite off the finger for the ring...but Iron Man flew down behind them and blasted the platform thing that they fought on, and it crumbled to pieces, sending both of them down below.
"I am Iron Man, and I've perfected time travel." He flew away into the distance, having accomplished his goal.
A flash appeared in the distance, and Green Lantern ran up to the volcano top. "Alright, I took two taxis and a time machine to get here, but I should be able to stop those weird people and get that better ring for myself!" He looked into the volcano and saw the ring shine some light as it was being destroyed. "...Oh, fu--"
Iron Man, still nearby, shot Lantern in the back and sent him falling into the volcano too. He landed back onto the volcano top. "I am Iron Man, and rings are still for girls."
