Nobody sees me waiting

Hey fellow writers or readers, this is just a little idea that came into my head.

Hope all those who I reviewed will return the favour.

Chapter 1 – New start

I sat, gazing. My reflection looked sadly back at me, my face still fine but my torso seemed multicoloured. I looked away disgusted at what I saw.

My school uniform was pulled on to hide the marks, of course that's why he missed my face. No questions would need no answers.

Today was my first day of a new school. After my mother had died father had moved us to Japan leaving our English culture goodbye. He had invested some obscene amount of money into some company, he hadn't given details. Only that we were moving and were the house was. I was given a month worth of Japanese lessons and then shipped over here like a suitcase. Of course father had sat me in first class seats, but they were right along beside his men.

I took a glimpse back at the mirror, there stood a girl of 5,7 golden curls, golden eyes wearing a neat school uniform and carrying a book bag. What a perfect disguise it made of my life.

I left my room silently, father had long gone thankfully. His job started at 6 so I managed to avoid him time wise, making my mornings less how shall we say it .. 'stressful'. I grabbed m lunch money of the kitchen counter and click the front door shut.

The path to the school was simple turn left towards a game shop, walk straight on and turn right at the school. I remembered the route from a map of the area that I had managed to get hold of. I reached the corner of the game shop and walked straight on, from the game shop came a group of teens about my age. They too started to walk towards school; the only girl appeared to have the same uniform as me.

I walked slowly behind them keeping a distance. Every now and again they would roar with laughter or pretend to fight. They seemed happy, I wonder what it feels like.

I turn to the right to see the school 'Domino High' written in big letters on the board. Sighing I took out my school map I had been given the previous day for my interview with the principle. It located my locker which was apparently holding my books. I located the one which was mine out of the rows of blue. Mine was covered in old graffiti but I shook it aside. Fiddling with the combination I tried to pull it open but it wouldn't budge.

"Come on!" I muttered tugging at it harder. A hand came from above and hit the locker with a bang, the door gently swung open. I turned to thank the owner of the hand but no one was there. I spun confused but as the bell sounded I gave up and ran to my new home room.
