curious eyes

nervous glances

suit and tie

designer dress

his shoes tap lightly, a part of him is a remnant of each step

her heels twist and turn gracefully

the dancing in the ballroom isn't the only dance that's happening

her smile is obligatory

he shakes hands with those he vaguely remembers (really, he is racking his brain to put names to faces)

he subconsciously loosens his tie

she finds herself using her compact mirror in her clutch more and more

they pay no mind to their friend's urgings

they refuse to acknowledge the longing and hope

they blatantly ignore the past, present and future (anything that has happened or could happen)

they choose not to understand the sheer tension between them

they deny the truth

the dance they have been doing, has lasted an eternity

the life they through themselves into was solely driven by goals

the work they use to run interference between them, is the only that thing that is a certainty

the long forsaken rumors, have reappeared, and this time, they choose to listen

curious eyes

nervous glances

suit and tie

designer dress

except this time they take that step

they meet in the middle

the dance they have been doing is no longer one

they have clasped hands, hearts, soul, and body into one

for this time they aren't dancing around their feelings

they are dancing to the beat of their heart

Here's a little drabble on Harvey and Donna. Super casual, yet at the same time meaningful. (or supposedly)

Please review and give me some feedback

I have actually never written anything to this caliber, so I would love to so how it is received.

Be on the lookout for a lot of Suits stuff (namely Harvey and Donna tics) coming your way:)
