AHHH!"Alexis screamed. Castle ran upstairs screaming "WHAT WHAT?" "I saw a spider on my pillow!" Alexis explained "It was huge! Like, I mean huge it looked like…like…..There it is again!" She yelled pointing at a small, fuzzy, black spider that had white dots on its back. "Alexis, it's just a small spider, its ok. You had me worried sick!" Castle said in relief. "Kill it!" Alexis yelled "Well, I would if I knew where it went." Castle replied. "NO, dad its right there!" Alexis shrieked, pointing to the wall. "Kill it with something!" She yelled again, as she ran into her bathroom.
After Alexis ran into her bathroom, Castle started to look for the spider. He looked everywhere: under the bed, in the closet, under her desk, and in her dresser. He couldn't find it anywhere. The last place he looked was in her desk drawer. It was right there, sitting there, mocking him like you will never catch me. So Castle sat there for a minute making no sudden movements, then he grabbed a book off her desk and SMACK! Alexis came running out "Dad! What happened" she asked "I killed the spider!" He said with the feeling of accomplishment! "Dad, you killed the spider with my diary!" She said with an upset voice. "Now my diary has spider guts all over it!"
Alexis put her diary down on her desk and walked out of the room.
Castle looked down and saw the diary; he couldn't resist. He took it, went to his room and put it between his mattress and box spring, to read later. Then he went into the living room to find Alexis reading a book. "Dad, it's getting late I think I'm going to head up to bed." She told her dad as she kissed him on the cheek. "Ok, sleep tight." He said as he got up from the couch and walked into his bedroom. Once he got into his bedroom and shut the door, he got the diary and sat down on the bed. He opened up it and started to read. As he read, he got more and more into it, as a drama book, then he came upon a page that he got half way into when he realized that he wasn't reading a book.
So after he had realized it was his daughters diary, he started to read that page over and over, he read it about 10 more times. It was then he realized Alexis had slept with Ryan. Not only was he disappointed that she slept with someone at 17 but she did it with someone other than her boyfriend. He thought to himself, he couldn't tell Alexis he read her diary and ground her, he had to get Ryan to spill it.
