"I could tell you the same. You're praying just as hard over 'em all as I'm doctoring 'em."
Josiah shook his head. "It's not the same, brother, and you know it. I did get a rest. You've been pulling this double header for weeks."
"And I'm gonna keep on 'til everybody's well again."
"You've got to rest. Look at you, Nathan. You could barely hold the scalpel straight last time you had to dig a bullet out."
"What's that?"
They looked up at the sound of Chris bolting the door.
"Looks like we're both taking a break."
