Hello fellow fanfictioners and Twilight fans! I feel Rosalie was a very intriguing character, and I feel that she could have been expanded upon much, much more. Yeah, I'm a dude; so I don't know much about pregnancy and stuff, only from a scientific view. Please enjoy, and give a lot of constructive criticism because it is really short and vague, but give me a break I'm pretty tired right now.
Anyone would have thought she had it all; loving family, wealth, beauty, brains. Anyone would have though she would be happy. Of course nobody could feel the immense pain burning through her core. Her eternal youth was the proof of what she could not possibly do. She begged the Lord, if he did in fact exist, to give her the blessing of a child. Even to kill her. She couldn't bear to live this way anymore; a life of emptiness that could never be filled. Rosalie wanted… No. She needed a child. Just to feel the warmth of being a mother, even just a day would save her hopeless feeling. Rosalie's mind was constantly filled with dreams of carrying a child. Her naïve thoughts of pregnancy grew too much for the immortal girl, enough to send her in fits of rage and jealousy opposing those who could carry children. Nobody seemed to understand her pain. Of course there were women in the world that could not carry a child, but they were not forced into an eternity of loss. Rosalie often felt the need to die, just to run all the way to Italy and confront the Volturi. A quick and cowardly escape…
Rosalie desperately wanted a life of getting married and having children. She had maintained the values of a woman back in the early 1900s, but her escape from death took away her hopes and dreams of being a rich man's wife with children to look after. Although Rosalie could not sleep; she constantly dreamed of that life. Another life that was never going to be her own. Nobody would ever feel her pain. It was as if her heart had been torn away from her body the moment Carlisle changed her. She'd rather have died in the street after being viciously raped by Royce King and his friends. This was not the life Rosalie chose, and she would never change her mind. Not for all the money, the immortality or the beauty in the world. She could not change the way her life was. A life of being isolated; her hopes and dreams forever in possible. She hated herself, but nobody else was allowed to know this.
Until a naïve young girl called Bella arrived…
So yes... Bella changed Rosalie's life. I feel that's how it is. Rosalie felt the ability to be honest with someone about how she felt. Did you hate it? Me too. I wrote it about 6 times before settling on this :/
Please review maybe?
