Fire

A short drabble for possibly my favorite pairing ever; Enjoy!
It was everywhere. Splattered on the walls, streaked along the floor, pooled around the lifeless bodies. Blood. Everywhere.
"No." Boyd gasped, falling backwards, his axe lying on the ground.
Oscar and Rolf laid on the ground, a spear through the elder's chest, the younger's body torn up by magic. Blood sprayed the air from Oscar, Rolf's small body crackling from the lightning that had destroyed him. The warrior crawled forward, reaching out to touch Oscar's small, ripped face, only to see an arrow soar through the air and fly straight into the boy's head. Boyd gasped and fell backward, his heart leaping into his throat.
"No. O-Oscar, Rolf. No!" He cried.
Suddenly, the bloody hallway burst into flame. The warrior looked around, and his two siblings were suddenly set on fire.
"No!" He cried.
The flames moved through the hall, slowly getting closer and closer. Boyd watched in motionless horror as the two males burned, their flesh crisping and turning to ash, their bones jutting through the dust.
"Oscar, Rolf!" He cried, the flames slowly heating his skin.
Fire; that was all that he saw as he laid numb, the heat burning his skin.
"No!" Boyd cried, thrashing in the sheets.
"Boyd, Boyd!"
The warrior stilled as Ulki wrap his arms around the beorc, holding him against his bare chest. The warrior sobbed into the laguz's chest, arms wrapping around the man, gripping him tightly.
"I-I dreamt about them again." Boyd gasped, Ulki's humming form rocking them back and forth gently.
"It's okay, Boyd. They're in heaven now, looking down at us." The hawk soothed, setting his chin on top of the other man's hair.
"There was fire, so much fire!" Boyd sobbed.
"It's gone now, Boyd. You don't need to worry." Ulki cooed.
They rocked back and forth quietly, Ulki gently helping Boyd through another tear-filled night. The man's two siblings had died five months ago, and while he didn't cry every night, the tears were still frequent and long, the hawk being there to sooth him after the nightmares.
Boyd finally fell asleep against the hawk, still clinging to him. Ulki laid both of their naked forms down on their bed, kissing Boyd gently on the forehead. The younger man curled against Ulki, and the hawk nuzzled the human's hair, pulling the blanket over them.
He would be there for the beorc through every night, tears or no. He would always protect him, and give him everything that he could to make him happy. He would give the human his soul if it would stop the tears, for they tore his heart apart each time he saw them. He would bring the two siblings back to life if possible, but it wasn't. He could only comfort the beorc, losing large amounts of sleep each night that he did. But he didn't care, as long as Boyd was happy. Of course, that was what love did to people.
