Small Talk
O N E S H O T
I walked up to her and gave my famous smile. The smile that tons of teenage girls have told me was 'gawjus.' She shot me a look of nervousness and I watched as she fixed her hair, lightly touching it and then switching to a stroke. Her fake golden locks brought out her adorable chocolate brown eyes.
"Hey there Miles." My life revolved around that saying.
"Hey there." That one two.
I walked straight past her giving a quick glance back and walked into my dressing room where my brothers Joe and Kevin were standing in the mirror. Kevin; fixing his hair, Joe; fixing well…everything.
"Sup bros?" I asked sitting down on the sunken in couch by the rack of clothes.
"Hey?" Joe said turning around. I sighed and watched my girl crazy brother put on his red suit jacket.
"Our show's in five. May I ask why you aren't doing anything but sitting there?" Kevin wondered while settling his boyish feet into his black Italian shoes.
"I'm ready. All I have to do is put some hairspray into my hair."
"Why?" Joe asked me quizzically, tilting his head to the side after the two syllables were out in the open.
"Because I'm not superficial." I retorted back shaking my hair to the perfect sweep of style.
"Hey! I'm not superficial!" Joe and Kevin said at the same time, Kevin pointing his finger towards me.
"If you remember, I just wait until the last minute…" Kevin said glancing in the mirror.
"And I just want special attention from the ladays." Joe said chuckling at the last bit.
Silence breathed louder through out the room. I couldn't help but ask myself if at any point in time this night I would say more then three words to Miley.
You see, to the world, she was one thing: Hannah Montana, popsensation superstar who's aspiring lyrics brought the best out of everybody.
To me, not only was she the world but she was three specific things: Miley Stewart, sweet gorgeous gentle hold onto your belt buckle personality. Hannah Montana, popsensation superstar who's aspiring lyrics brought out the best out of everybody. The girl of my dreams, I didn't want a hippopotamus for Christmas. I wanted her. Miley Stewart slash Hannah Montana. Maybe I would get her. Just maybe…
A/N: So I figured I'd make a fairly short NickxMiley one shot because I will probably have my new story Contradicting Lyrics to be a NickxMiley but nothing's final. So I will be making a one shot for a JoexMiley and then a NickxLilly even though I don't think I'll pick those. I figured I'd get used to writing about the couples and experiment with their characters, you know?
Anywho I see you, watch out this January(literally like the very first week) for a BRAND NEW Hannah Montana story: Contradicting Lyrics! Go check out my profile for the trailer. It's going to be an angst fest.
Oh, and for those of you who read the rest of my stories…voting ends December 14th to help me pick which three stories I'm keeping and what three I'm letting go. Go to my profile to vote!
