Underestimation
Memories are always foggy.
There's always another adventure, another role that no one will take.
But if she felt like an actress, she didn't show it…
…she didn't know it.
An actor acts best when they don't realize it.
Someone always had a use for the small duck swimming in the pond.
No one ever remembers a clumsy girl.
The duck never does either, as the months pass by, her memories fade and she is ready to be used for another endeavor.
…well… that's how it normally goes.
The writers twitched in annoyance at the new development.
They thought she'd forget like normal.
They thought he'd get tired of visiting some random duck.
They'd underestimated how high Fakir holds his word of honor.
They'd underestimated how happy the little duck was to see her knight.
Drosselmeyer cackled, at very least, his story had managed to inconvenience his piers. Though… it was still a shame it was 'happily ever after'.
