"Order up, Marco!"

Once Marco left the order on another table, he quickly rushed into the kitchen. Although the restaurant isn't too busy at the moment, he always made a promise that the food would always get on their tables as fast as he could. Once he got inside the kitchen, he saw his mother, as well as his relatives making other different orders, awaiting him with a single bowl of pho with meatballs and rare steak.

"What table is this for?" Marco yelled.

"Your regular at table 24," his mom replied.

"Ok, thanks mom."

Carrying the hot bowl in his hand, he safely placed it on the table, where his regular customer awaited the arrival with chopsticks and a growling stomach.

"Here's your usual order, Star," Marco said gleefully.

"Thanks, Marco," Star answered.

"Careful, now, it's really cold."

"You're always gonna use that joke with all the customers, huh?"

"Heh, yes I do."

As usual, Star pours in a lot of Sriracha and chili paste on her bowl of pho and mixes it in with her chopsticks.

"You should sit down with me," she offered. "It isn't that busy in your restaurant anyways."

"Yeah, but the customers," Marco questioned.

"Your co-workers can handle it, Marco. You do trust your co-workers, right?"

"Yeah, I guess. I should be able to relax before the night shift starts."

"There you go."

Marco sat across the table from Star, taking a deep breath as he sat down. Star, on the other hand, is eating as much pho as she could, savoring every bite the minute the noodles touch her taste buds.

"As always, Marco, your family's pho is always amazing," Star confessed.

"Thanks, Star," he praised. "I can only wish Jackie would say the same thing."

"But don't you and Jackie see each other often?"

"Not really, but she does work at the restaurant right across the street from here."

"Oh, alright then."

"Yeah, but she does visit at least once or twice at the barside. It's mostly drinks for her. She rarely eats in the restaurant."

"Well, at least she comes over, right?"

"Yeah, it's nice to see her outside of school."

"I assure you, Marco, she will love the food around here. Just as much as I do."

"Thanks, Star."

"Pho-Sho!"

As Star continued to eat her pho, Marco suddenly saw Janna behind the cash register, holding a plate of wontons she stole from the kitchen.

"So we're talking about Jackie again, huh?" Janna wondered.

"Janna, what are you doing back there?!" Marco shouted furiously.

"Wanted to take a snack. Do you mind if I-"

"GET OUTTA TOWN!"
