A/N: I can't seem to get over Dean's suffering this season, feel so bad for him, and that means I am dying to write anything about his impending breakdown. It's not that I want him to break down, just that I'm thinking more and more that it might be necessary, in order to get everything off of his chest and reconnect with Sam. With that note in mind, I hope you enjoy.
You know what, Dean? Why don't you curl up and die?"
Amidst the heat of the moment Sam had said some harsh things, but that right there had to be the absolute worst.
Words he'd kept buried for days, weeks even, and when the final straw had come they were ripped screaming from his throat.
Two hours later and Dean, having not an ounce of self-worth ever in his life, has unexpectedly taken it the wrong way.
Diving off the deep end when Sam had always warned he couldn't swim.
"I'm so sorry, man. You know I didn't mean it."
