Elrond, Lord of Imladris, sighed as he heard screaming from the corridor.

Again.

He pushed himself from his chair, quickly darted around his desk and out of his study. Following the noise, he almost immediately was in his only daughter's, Arwen, chambers.

Arwen was chasing her new 'friend' the young Prince of Mirkwood, screaming nonsense -probably threats- at the younger elfling. Legolas, who in turn was trying to get away from her, was wailing in some form of terror. Elrond picked Legolas up, as he tried to run past and into the corridor, Arwen stopped her shouting the moment she noticed her father. An innocent smile was making its way across her face. Elrond sighed telling Arwen to go to his study, while trying to stop Legolas wiping his running nose on his shoulder. Elrond ran a hand through Legolas' hair trying to soothe him or at least stop the tears, before he had to reprimand Arwen for her actions.

'Why did I agree to babysit?'

Quick Notice: In my mind Legolas is quite young for an elf and is the youngest in the story -even though he's probably quite old-
