The End of Logic
Peter and Susan belong to C.S. Lewis. This was a work for a college course i'm taking online and I remembered I could post this on here! So I did. Ha, what do you know. College is good for something. Just kidding, college is good for all. I reccomend it. Actually, the college I am thinking of attending is accessible the quickest by train. Hmm...
"You're going against all logic," his Susan told him a thousand times. Peter shook his head.
"If going against logic is wrong, sue me, Susan."
"You have gone and dug up old rings in somebody else's yard because they are and I am quoting you, brother dear, 'magic rings.' You are meeting two people who are losing their faculties later today at the station."
"Was it your yard?" Peter asked.
"No," she stammered.
"Then this doesn't concern you, does it?" Peter sighed and leaned back, satisfied.
"I just don't see why you have to get yourself tangled up in this crazy web of 'magic.' You're a smart man, Pete." She looked at her brother. He had a smile on his lips.
A policeman showed up at Susan's door. She gladly opened it. "Oh, Sir, if this is about the rings," she said, "I'm sure my brother Peter will gladly return them."
"Ma'am," the policeman shook his head with a sigh, "There was a train accident. It took the life of your brother." Susan stood still, unaware what to do next.
"He wasn't on the train," she whispered, slowly.
"It crashed into the station. The last words he said were, 'Susan, if you could see this place. It defies your logic ever so much.'"
Wells here it is! This is the first time I actually kept somebody dead in my stories. Usually, I'm a sucker and reaanimate the characters. Sigh, Peter was my favorite too. DX Anywhoo, I'm glad I posted this.
