Oh hey! It's been a while. Have some HeiShin Drabbles. I'm sorry for not updating anything ;o;

I don't own Detective Conan.

1. Names

When Shinichi finally had his actual body back for good, one of the things he is most happy about is the fact that Heiji can't mix up his name anymore.

His happiness was turned into anger when Heiji calls him Conan while they were attempting to be intimate.

Heiji ends up locked out of Shinichi's room, millions of apologies tumbling from his lips.

2. Hardship

With detective work, and school, and relationships, Shinichi sometimes missed the life of being a 6 year old again. Although it meant there would still be a lot detective work, at least he only had to worry about the homework he could do in 5 minutes, and different ways to keep the detective boys calm and not as noisy. (Though, The Black Org. was certainly a constant stress on his mind back then, but that's besides the point.)

He also didn't have to worry about a certain brooding Osakan in the next room over.

3. School

"Ya know, Fer such a smart detective, You're pretty terrible at math." Heiji commented as he looked over Shinichi's test grade, which was a whopping 40%.

"It was an off day, Hattori." Shinichi snapped, snatching his test back, the pissed expression on his face enough to make Heiji back off on the teasing. Heiji smiled a bit, despite the red-faced detective in front of him.

"I can teach ya, if ya want?" Heiji offered. Shinichi turned away from Heiji, sticking his nose in the air, ever the spoiled brat.

"I said it was just an off day, Hattori. I don't need your help." Shinichi strides away to the library at that moment, leaving Heiji in the living room all by his lonesome.

Shinichi's independence statement was contradicted later, when Shinichi came up to Heiji (who was fully engrossed into watching some baseball game) and shoved a math problem in his face, demanding he solve it.

4. Opinion

The first time Heiji and Shinichi hear that someone say that they thought the two would make a good couple, It comes from Kogoro, who says it with a sneer while he's looking at a crime scene, watching the two stumble around and point things out like the geniuses they are.

Heiji and Shinichi stare at Kogoro for a good minute, who just shrugs and says it's his opinion.

Later that night, Shinichi confesses with a small blush, and Heiji's whole face turns red and a big grin breaks out on his face as he practically tackles Shinichi into a hug.

5. Break Up

They broke up, once. It lasted for 3 weeks, those 3 weeks containing the most pissed off and work-obsessed Shinichi Kudo in the history of Shinichi Kudos, and the most quiet and unenthusiastic Hattori Heiji in the History of Hattori Heijis.

When Ran decided she wasn't going to put up with anymore rants or murder cases, and Kazuha decided she couldn't stand to see Heiji locked in his room all day, eating any junk he could get his hands on, they forced them into a room together and locked the door, forcing them to talk this out.

Three hours later, they said they were ready to come out, and they came out smiling again, and Heiji admitting that he was wrong, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is pretty cool.

6. New Love

Heiji finally realizes he's in love with Shinichi when he looks over at him during a case and sees him in his element. The determined expression in his eyes, the concentration on the suspects and their reactions as he talks down to them, revealing the culprit out of the small crowd.

The content smile and then confused look when Shinichi catches Heiji's eyes make Heiji's face turn pink, looking away from Shinichi, coming to terms with his emotions.

Gotta love loser babies who do detective work! Maybe I should update my other fics now too.. . . ..
