A Poem Based On Some Of My Many Fandoms
Fandoms, for me, are a necessity for life.
Fandoms, for me, showcase the mind's might.
Like Doctor Who, where the meaning of life is shown,
or Sherlock, where death is studied, deduced, and solved.
My Final Fantasy is for the world to be free of Strife,
but even the Devil May Cry when demons run at night.
Through Truth's Gate, nothing is left (even bone),
as spent flesh and bone is the cost to be resolved.
Sword Art Online is, above all else, a game,
and the same could be said for Log Horizon.
Though games of life and death they are, as No Game equals No Life,
your life would end if you meet the feared Battousai.
Slay enough Titans, and your name would be heralded in fame,
and to save a city, emerald Arrows would lead your enemies to demise in
time. Fear of the Dark, and the crimson energy blade would always be rife,
though with a Spirit Gun, Rose Whip, or katana slash, life would end in the hands of a petite samurai.
Anything is possible if you have the Seven Dragon Balls,
even overcoming the L'Cie's feared crystal sleep.
The three golden Triangles of Courage, Wisdom and Power
would also lend the strength to protect Sacred Lands.
Though, if information is what you need, Sioux Falls
harbours Hunters willing to aid the monsters of whose lives they reap.
While the falling angels are mistaken for stars during the late hour,
the five Gundams penetrating the atmospheres holds the planet's fate in their hands.
Just like the aliens searching for the fabled AllSpark,
another fable lives in the past in them and land of Myth and Magic.
While the half-demon fears her fate due to her burning red eyes and birthmark,
the hopeful PokeMaster travels regions, and failure would be quite tragic.
Hi! :) Basically, for school, I was helping a group of Year 5 and 6 learn and make poetry. During this, I decided to write a poem littered with fandom references. (I also got into an interesting debate about Naruto and the Force affinity of Kylo Ren from Star Wars... which was fun)
So, I thought, what the hell, I'll publish it on Fanfiction. So, here it is, enjoy. Let's see how may references you can find :P (There's 23 in total.)
Have fun!
