The year is 2017. It is Halloween night and every little kid is walking, running, or skipping to the next house to get their candy. Cream the rabbit is seen dressed as a princess and with her is her mother, Vanilla, walking her door to door. Charmy Bee is also with them in his Sherlock Holmes costume. While they are Trick-or-Treating, Sonic and the rest of the gang are setting up a Halloween party in a haunted mansion.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Sonic? Do you remember last time when we were in a haunted mansion?" Tails walks up to Sonic.

"Yeah... I'm still not sure what's creepier, Amy being possessed or Chris following me everywhere like a stalker," Sonic shivers at the flashbacks.

"I remember Chris as being that one annoying ten-year-old. Following us everywhere, never leaving us alone." Knuckles walks up to them.

"What are you supposed to be?" Sonic eyes his costume.

"Uhh duh, I'm a bounty hunter!" He smiles happily and puts his hands on his hips, trying to look heroic and cool.

"Yeah... okay..." Sonic shakes his head.

"Oh yeah, what are you, smart one?" Knuckles asks him. "I don't see any costume on you!"

"Duh. Werehog." Sonic says nonchalantly and rolls his eyes. "I was about to be Shadow for Halloween but he is too hard to pull off considering his emo attitude."

Shadow walks up to them wearing a pink tutu and the other three try to hold in their laughter.

"Long story short, I lost a bet." Shadow shakes his head and closes his eyes.

They can't hold in their laughter much longer. Lucky for them, Shadow walks away.

"Pfft. HAH!!"

"And what are you supposed to be?" Rouge asks Amy as she walks up to her.

"A badass warrior. What about you?" Amy asks her.

"Cop. Isn't it obvious?"

"Nahh."

Blaze walks up to the two girls in a creepy doll costume. "What do you girls think?" She asks.

"Whoah!" Amy exclaims. "That's actually really creepy!"

"Yeah, it really is," Rouge smirks.

"Rouge... why are you smirking?" Blaze asks Rouge.

"Ohh just because..." she says. Today's the day I'm going to try and make my ships a reality!

"Okay... let's help the boys keep on decorating! The whole town is gonna be here after trick-or-treating!" Amy cheers.

"The whole town can't come in. They won't hear your cries for help." They all hear a deep, raspy voice say.

"Who are you?!" Sonic asks. "Show yourself!" He demands.

"Don't worry, Sonic. You will find out who I am soon. Very soon."

"Reveal yourself, coward!" Silver yells.

"Why should I? Some things are better kept as secrets..."

Everyone walks to the living room from where they all were. Sonic spin dashes at the door to try and knock it down. Nothing. Shadow throws a chaos spear at it. Still nothing. Amy even tried to hit it down with her piko-piko hammer and nothing!

"It's no use!" Silver shouts.
