A/N:Short and sweet.

Poking his head through, Ushio took a firm hold of the door as he took a step into the room. "You wanted to see me, chief?" He hustled into the room and quickly shut the door after a quick nod from the woman seating in the center of the room. Without a word he slid into the empty seat before the mahogany desk, waiting to be told why he had been summoned. "Chief?"

Saffron-dipped eyes were tapered with hands laced together. "I wished to talk to you about your actions today, Ushio. Regarding Ms. Le Blanc." The man felt a lump immediately form in his throat. He parted his lips to speak but was silenced as she signaled him with her hand to stop. "Let me explain."

"Alright."

"This woman trespassed and broke into Security Office Headquarters. Threatening those inside that there was a bomb when there was none. She used the same tactic with Yuusei and Aki along with the fact that she attacked Bruno, nearly killing him."

"I know all of this. Why haven't we arrested her then?"

"No efficient evidence as of yet. But that is not why I brought you in here."

Shifting his boot clad feet, Ushio looked towards the ground before up at his superior. "Than what for?"

"You behaved unprofessionally. You were willing to let her go on the fact that she was pretty."

The officer blinked as his thoughts went over the day's events. He cocked his head to the side. "So, I am not allowed to think that a woman is pretty?"

"No one said that. It's the fact that you were going to let her just because of that."

"Well…what about Jack?"

Mikage raised a brow. "Jack was acquitted of all charges based on the turn of events with the robot. Do not try to twist this around. That situation was different; I cared for Jack but I did not let my feelings cloud my judgment. I did what I thought was right and what the law issued."

Nodding weakly, Ushio lowered his head. "I'm not letting you go if you're wondering." His head shot up. "Really?"

Leaning back into her chair, Mikage nodded. "I'm not going to let go one of my most experienced officers." The blue haired woman rose from her seat before planting her palms atop the smooth desk. "But if I discover you had done this again; there will be consequences. Don't treat men and women so differently, Ushio. We're all capable of atrocious sins."

A/N:My response to how people interpet the episode dealing with Ushio thinking Sherry is pretty. It's okay if he does that and let's her go, but if good heavens if Mikage jails Jack based on evidence is treated like trash. EVERYONE believed Jack committed those crimes, and she did what she thought was right. So so so tired of seeing stories where Mikage is constantly abused. I get it, you don't like her. Doesn't mean you can treat her like shit. My stance, and no one will change my mind.

I swear to god if someone says 'MikagexUshio', I have lost hope for people to not blindly ship.
