A/N: New favorite HP pairing! YAY! Loosely based off of a dream I had. Cool, huh?
Disclaimer: What do you think? Do I write anywhere near as well as J.K. Rowling? I didn't think so.
"Albus?" Came the soft, German-accented voice from Albus' bed.
"Hm?" Came the reply. Albus was seated in a rickety wooden chair facing the bed, his nose buried in a book and his long auburn hair falling over his narrow shoulders.
Gellert was sprawled lazily across the sheets in front of him, the book he had been perusing moments before laying open on the bed beside him, where he had placed it when he switched his attention to the boy sitting opposite him. "What does your family think we're doing up here?" The blond boy asked, shifting onto his side to face Albus properly.
Albus adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "I have no idea. They don't know that we're looking for Hallows, if that's what you mean."
Gellert grinned in amusement. "But you must have told them something."
Albus peered over the top of his book at the other, and then averted his eyes and addressed the book's faded pages. "I haven't told them anything. All they know is that we don't want them to know what we're doing. They probably think we've got our tongues down each other's throats, or something..." he raised the book higher to hide the soft blush that colored his cheeks.
The rustling of fabric could be heard from the bed as Gellert moved, but Albus could not bring himself to look at the other boy, to face his shock and revulsion. However, when the book he was holding was plucked gently from his hands and set aside, he looked up to see deep, emerald green eyes inches from his own. Then the owner of those amazing eyes captured his lips. At first the pressure was gentle, but when the other began to move his mouth more roughly against Albus', Albus, against conscious thought, responded in kind. Gellert tangled his hand in the other's hair and in one fluid movement straddled Albus, the old chair creaking from the extra weight. When Gellert's tongue ran across Albus' lower lip, instead of simply opening his mouth in compliance, Albus slid his own tongue into the other's mouth, starting the battle for dominance which Gellert only won because of his relative height advantage.
When at last they broke apart, the only thing that Albus managed to say was, "Oh."
Gellert shifted awkwardly and cleared his throat, then carefully climbed off of Albus and sat down on the bed.
Albus disliked the loss of contact, but could not seem to make his vocal chords work. He could only sit there, shocked not only by what Gellert had done, but by the way he had responded.
"If it helps, I don't know why I did that."
Albus found his voice at last, though it shook as he spoke. "Did you...like it?"
"...Yes."
Gellert spoke so softly that Albus wasn't sure he'd heard correctly, but then-
"Yes I did."
There was no mistaking it this time. Albus took a deep breath, "Me too."
