The most interesting person I ever met, was a boy named Harry.

I met him when he was about eleven years old, and I was probably about the same age. Harry was a quiet boy, who lived with his aunt and uncle, because his parents had died in a car crash when he was only a little baby. That's what he thought at least.

His uncle and aunt had a son named Dudley. Dudley was a very spoiled kid, and he bullied Harry every chance he got. Vernon and Petunia (his uncle and aunt) hated Harry, and he could never figure out why.

But then a strange man knocked on his door, and from that day on Harry's life was never the same. The big man's name was Hagrid, and he told Harry something that changed everything. Harry was a wizard.

Suddenly he was being pulled into this whole new world, full of magic, dragons and adventures. And I fell in love with this world and everything that belonged to it.

Harry went to Hogwarts, a school for wizards and witches. He was sorted into Gryffindor, just like his mum and dad, who by the way, did not die in a car crash. They were actually killed by an evil wizard called Voldemort. Everyone thought Voldemort was dead, but Harry knew that he wasn't. Voldemort desperately wanted to kill Harry (the boy who lived), and they fought many times in the six years Harry went to Hogwarts.

Harry of course had some friends. His best friends was Ron and Hermione, a joker and a know-it-all, who actually ended up together (but that's another story). They went on many adventures in their time together, and they all saved each other's life's countless times. They were the best of friends, and I've always thought that he was incredibly lucky.

I don't think I can count on two hands how many times I wanted to be a part of this world, and I remember being very sad when I didn't get my acceptance letter from Hogwarts. I later read that they only had students from the U.K, and that of course explained a lot.

Harry met a lot of interesting people, and especially Ron's family (the Weasley's) was fascinating. Ron had a lot of brothers (5 to be exact), and only one sister. His family was big, and they didn't have a lot of money, but Harry loved this more than anything. It was so different from anything he had ever experienced, and Mrs. Weasley loved him like he was her own son.

Despite the war, this world seemed like the perfect place, and there was nothing I loved more than hearing about this place, and all the exciting things that happened.

I grew up with Harry, and when I had heard everything, I wanted to hear it again. When I got older, I started talking to other people, who loved this world just as much, and we discussed it together. It was fun, and I found that a lot people felt just like I did.

The most interesting person I ever met was a boy named Harry Potter, and him and his world will always be close to my heart.

(Please don't think I'm crazy)
