JOEY
Again Dawson? (He looks at the window surprised to see her) How many times can you watch this?
She tentatively comes in and stands by the window.
DAWSON
Joey! Hi. What are you doing here?
JOEY
Friday nite is movie nite isn't it?
DAWSON
Yeah.
They stand there uncomfortable.
DAWSON
Come on in.
JOEY
Thanx. (Sits next to him)
DAWSON
Not with Jack tonite?
JOEY
He's having dinner with Pacey, Andie, and his mom.
DAWSON
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't that little dinner party include you?
There is no response from Joey. In a V.O. "I'll be right here" She looks at the TV and makes a face. Then looks at DAWSON.
DAWSON

We see them both smile and as Joey looks back at the TV Dawson takes a second glance at her and smiles again. Fade in Theme song and beginning credits

Where you rushing off to?
JOEY
Capeside's illustrious Community Center to turn in my drawing for an art contest.
DAWSON
I thought you thought contests were juvenile?
JOEY
I do, however when a thousand dollars is on the line, that has to take precedence over everything. Howz filming?
DAWSON

JOEY
That's good. Well, I gotta go. My destiny awaits. See ya.
She walks off and Dawson sees JACK approach, her they stop. He is gesturing wildly, they seem to be arguing and she storms off and Jack walks away passing Dawson who comments

(smiling) Trouble in paradise Jack?
Jack pauses not looking at Dawson who is smirking, then continues on.
