a\n: enjoy this oneshpot i put together for Arthur, for Father's Day. I don't think its a major plot, but more so a simple, in tense look at his character, and what goes along with the dynamics in doing everything it takes to be a father....make any sense?

what did it mean to be a father? Arthur knew better than many people he knew. He knew no one, and not to be conceited, but he knew no one that took care of their children the way he did. For one, he was always there for them...not just a floo call or quick one armed hug...he got the tears and boo-boo's and "goodnights" and the oh so meaningful, "I love you's." Though, every Father's Day, Arthur contemplated more and more on what he thought it meant to be a father...

Onto the next reason he and his family thought he was a born Patriarch: He genuinely cared...he truly loved....he wholly commited. He would do anything fpr his children and wife, and Molly reminded him every Father's Day, how important he was to all of them. The same things went on this Father's Day as Arthur walked downstairs and greeted his children. Bombarded with gifts, hugs and smiles, he realized, rather than spending his day at the ministry, or out Merlin knew where, he wanted to be with his family...more than anything else, forever, and for always.

"Happy Father's Day.......Daddy." Arthur grinned as he turned, the seductive happy Father's Day wish had not been uttered from his children's mouths, but his wife's....and as the kids died down, running to play, Arthur took one look at his wife, and promised her and himself silently, that next Fathers' Day, he'd have a daughter's finger to wrap himself around.

a\n: horrible? I'll be writing more father stories today for
Father's day, but its late on this side of the globe....seeing as its 30 minutes till F D, but review and I'll promise for updates and new stories later on today. :) pm me for any questions or suggestions, or just review. :)
