"Now, Eatos! Show him your special ability!" Raphael commanded. Then, Yami's arm rose on its own! "My arm-I ...can't control it!" Yami cried.
"Now, Eatos will take your monsters!"said Raphael. "Not my monsters!" cried Yami. "Too little too late. Now, let's see who's up first." Raphael said, as Dark Magician Girl came out of Yami's graveyard. "My dark magician girl!" Yami cried. "Next, will be your favourite." continued Raphael. "Not my Dark Magician!" Yami shouted. But, Raphael continued on, as burfomet, big shield guardna, and gazelle appeared. "Now, look into the eyes of your monsters!" Raphael told Yami. "Please forgive me for what I have done to you!" Yami begged his monsters. "Now, your monsters are fighting on my side." said Raphael, as the monsters' spirits went into the celestial sword, giving Eatos ten thousand attack points. "Ten thousand attack points, more than enough to destroy your monsters and the rest of your life points." said Raphael smugly.
"Now, Eatos! destroy his monsters and the rest of his life points!" Raphael commanded. "NOOOOO!" Yami shouted, as the rest of his monsters and lifepoints were destroyed. Then, Yugi broke the seal and pushed Yami out of the way. "The seal only needs one of us, so I'm letting it take me instead." Yugi told Yami. "NO! YUGI!" he shouted, as Yugi's soul vanished with the Orichalcos.
Then, Alister came, in the helicopter. Raphael grabbed Yami. "Hey you! Get your hands off him!" yelled Joey. "Fine. I have everything of his." Raphael said, tossing Yami to Joey, Tristan and Duke. "Yami! Wake up!" Joey said. Yami woke up.
"I knew you would outsmart him. How did you do it?" Joey asked. Yami didn't respond. "Hm? You all right, pal?" Joey asked Yami. "No, Joey," Yami replied, crying. "It's far from all right. He succeeded...Yugi is gone." he continued. "I don't get it. How could you be talking to us if your soul is gone?" Joey asked, confused. "Not mine...Yugi's!" Yami cried. He dropped to his knees. Tears streaming down Yami's face, he dropped to his knees. "It's all my fault! YUGI! COME BACK!" he cried. Yami slammed his fists onto the ground. "It should have been me! Not him! It's not fair!" Yami shouted.
--
Yami woke up, shivering. Cold sweat covered his face. "Man...what a horrible nightmare." he said. Yami looked at his alarm clock. It read 3:00 am. Groaning, Yami rolled over, trying to get some more sleep. But, it failed. Why did I have to go and play the seal? Yami thought to himself, his eyes welling up with tears.
I had let everyone down that day, especially Yugi. He told me not to play that card. he thought. Tears rolling down his face, he thought, I was so selfish. Sure, he had Yugi again, but the painful memory was just too much for him to handle. After all, he had been having the same nightmare for three months now. If only I had never played the seal of orichalcos. Yami thought again. He pulled the covers over his head, tears still falling from his eyes. Yami looked over at Yugi. They shared the same room after all.
Then, Yugi woke up. "Yami...?" he said, sleepily. Yami didn't respond. "You had that nightmare again, didn't you?" asked Yugi. Yami only nodded.
Then, Yami said, I've been having them for three months, every night." Yami was sobbing now. They continued to talk, until Yami felt a little better. "Thank you, Yugi. I just needed to talk to someone." said Yami. Then, Yami and Yugi went back to sleep.
