Ok this is nothing special I just had something in my head and so I decided to write it down. It´s about Ella and Addison and their life together.
You come home from a long and hectic schedule at the hospital, you know it´s very late and you feel guilty. But still it´s your life, you are the best in your job and you love it. Your house is dark you can only see a little light from the living-room, the TV.
You see your little daughter on top of Coop, he was watching her for the night, both are fast asleep. Your daughter is already 6 years old, she looks like you. She is tall for her age, her hair are red and her teeth gap reminds you the most of yourself. She is going to first grade and she is clever. She wants to be a surgeon like you and wants to save little baby´s, and you are proud of her.
You lift her up into your arms and her eyes flutter open.
"Shhh sweetie it´s just mommy" you whisper and she starts to close her eyes again.
You bring her upstairs into her pink little princess room. She snuggles into her blanket and you give her a kiss.
"Goodnight sunshine, I love you!"
"I love you too mommy" she says half asleep.
You are happy that you have her, that you did what´s best for her, even without a Dad.
You go downstairs back to Coop and he is awake and you can see how tired he is.
"Thank you Coop for watching her, I hope she wasn´t in too high spirits" you have to laugh about what you just said, of course she was like always. She is excited when she can have a night with her Uncle Coop.
"She was a good girl like always" Coop smiles, he loves to be Uncle Cooper and loves to watch her.
He grabs his stuff and kisses your cheek to say goodbye.
You go back upstairs to see your daughter fast asleep in her bed the blanket over her. You decide to take a shower and also go to bed.
The next morning was a Saturday, you have no surgery and Ella has no school so you were still asleep even when it was already 10am, you normally don´t get so much sleep.
Well your daughter has her own head and decides to wake you, she gives you a sweet kiss.
"Mommy you slept enough, time to wake up" she says with a calm voice, because she knows how fast she gives you a shock.
Your eyes open and you can see her messy hair and her smile. She is the cutest.
"Hey sweetie how about breakfast and then we could do something together, as we both have the day off" You suggest.
"Cuddle first?" she asked.
She is a real mother-child, even for her age. You love that she still wants to cuddle and says that she loves you.
"Of course, come here on my bed" You say and take her hand.
She jumps on the bed and cuddles under your blanket. You hold her and stroke her hair.
After you both stayed in bed for awhile you went downstairs to have some breakfast together. She loves Bagels as you.
"Mommy, can we go shopping today? I need some new shirts and a dress" She is so like you, every day you can see it more.
"Yes I also need some stuff, how about we both get ready now and go to the mall?"
"YAAY" She screams and jumps upstairs to get ready.
About an hour later you are at the mall and have fun with your daughter. You already bought a lot of shirts for her and of course for yourself.
You are happy that you didn´t had an abortion. You are happy that you have your daughter. And even when you are a single mother you have the best family ever.
Your friends are here for you.
