Author's note: This is my first completed submitted fanfiction. Special thanks to my brother for editing. Also for the record I don't have anything against Martin/PC ficts I'm just messing around.

"I hope she is alright," Martin said breaking the relative silence at Cloud Ruler Temple. It had been three days since the hero of Kvatch, Ashii-tek, left to retrieve the armor of Tiber Septim.

"Don't worry, sire, your girlfriend has been through Oblivion several times now; I'm sure she can handle whatever is at Sancre Tor," Baurus reassured.

"I suppose…wait girlfriend?"

"Oh come on it's fairly obvious you two are an item."

"What? She is just a friend."

At this point Captain Steffan entered the room and decided to interject "Sure, you're 'just friends.'"

"We are! When has either of us ever indicated that our relationship goes any further than friendship?"

"Relationship? Neither of us said anything about you two having a relationship." Baurus pointed out.

"For the love of Akatosh, you know I didn't mean it that way!"

"Oh, I get it," Steffan announced, "you're worried about what people will say since she is an Argonian."

"We are not an item!" Martin exclaimed frustrated while silently questioning if the Blades had too much free time.

"We understand," Baurus said smirking. "Don't worry your secret is safe with us. Right, captain?"

"Of course."

"Aaagh!" Martin shouted. "That's not what I meant!"

"Take it easy; you aren't the first person I've met who 'likes lizards' so to speak. I mean one time-" Steffan's story was abruptly cut off by Martin using a silence spell. Before Baurus could comment Martin threw another silence spell at him.

Jauffre suddenly saw Martin storming through the hall carrying his books. "I need to find a better place to work, like a tavern!" he grumbled.

"Something bothering you your highness?"

"Oh, Jauffre!" Martin exclaimed seemingly just noticing the man's presence. "I think we need to do something about the immature behavior some of The Blades are exhibiting."

"Hmm?"

"Baurus and Steffan won't shut up about the stupid romance they imagined between Ashii-tek and me."

"I see; I'll have a word with them about harassing you."

"Thank you, I'm glad someone here actually listens to me."

"Well, Martin, I have some experience with your situation."

"Oh?"

"Yes when I was younger there was this Khajiit I liked and well…"

Ashii-tek was near the rune stone outside Cloud Ruler Temple when she heard a bloodthirsty scream.

"Oh no!" Fearing the worst she started running to the temple. Halfway up the path she noticed Jauffre running toward her.

"Jauffre what's wrong? Is it the Mythic Dawn?" Jauffre ran past her oblivious to her questions. "Dang, I've never seen anyone move that fast; let alone an old man in heavy armor," she thought.

"Come back here!"

Ashii-tek was surprised to see Martin looking more furious than she had ever seen him, brandishing a sword, and seemingly in pursuit of Jauffre. "Ok, how is it the one on the epic adventure feels like she is missing out on something?" Ashii-tek wondered as she sighed and continued up to the temple.
