It had been three years since the Reminisce of Sephiroth disappeared from the city. The children were cured from the geostigma along with Cloud. Everyone seemed to get on with their lives. That was until the three brothers came back asking for help. The others turned their heads away from them thinking that they had not changed their ways.
Cloud accepted them with open arms, but warned them that if they stabbed his back he would be prepared. The two older brothers, Yazoo and Loz, understood and thanked him for the help. The youngest out of the brothers, Kadaj, didn't say a word.
Three days past and still, not a word from Kadaj.
Yazoo became very worried and told Cloud. Cloud sent Kadaj off to be taken care of in the hills with Rude and Reno. He spent four days up there before he finally started talking again. Kadaj had become very comfortable with Reno. He had been there when Kadaj had woke up screaming from his nightmare and would tell him things about the other members of the "family". Kadaj liked listening to him talk.
The day he started talking sent everyone into shock.
Reno walked up the stairs of the house that the three had been staying at for a few weeks. He sighed as he approached Kadaj's room.
He knocked on the door. No one answered.
"Kadaj, you in there?" He knocked again.
Still no one answered. Reno, after all the weeks that he had been there, still did trust Kadaj. He turned the door knob. It was locked.
"Shit! Rude, we have a problem!" Reno yelled down the hall.
Rude came running down the hall with a bat.
"What is it?" The black man asked.
"He locked the door." Reno stepped out of the way as Rude swung the bat at the door.
The door, being made out of thin wood, smashed. Reno reached into the hole that was left and unlocked the door.
They walked into the room and noticed that Kadaj was no where to be found. Reno sighed, knowing that it was going to take awhile to find the silver haired boy.Suddenly, the two fighters heard a sneeze from behind them. They turned towards the closet doors.
Rude, being the closest, opened the doors. They both sighed with relief when they saw Kadaj hiding in the corner of the closet.
Reno walked into the closet the best he could and bent down to face Kadaj.
"What do you think you're doing?" Reno said.
Of course Kadaj said nothing. That's what pissed Reno off the most. Kadaj had yet to day anything.
"For a guy you talked an awful lot when we first met, you have nothing to say?"
After the long silence, Reno stormed out of the room leaving a confused Rude and an angry Kadaj.
