Dad,
I was scared for her.
No, I was scared with her.
The day is over, but I keep reliving it… Why is it that good memories will stick with you for only a while, when the bad stay forever?
God, I can still see her face…her frightened to death face. The worst thing I ever saw... and felt. Yes, felt. I can feel her pain, and I can feel her joy… but this was the far worst of them all.
I can't help from crying…I know, not manly or heroic…but I can't help it, when it involves her.
I'm trying to be a hero Dad, I'm trying…I really am. But…my heart seemed to fail when I screamed my bloody hell off when I saw her lying there! I thought she was dead, Dad, I can't get my head through that.
I love her…I just found that out today…I guess I've loved her all along. She's back at Hogwarts right now…I'm in my final year! The grand ole' seventh! Well, I guess eighth technically…but still. I get to graduate with her!
I guess it's safe to tell you this since well…it's not like you can tell anyone else.
I'm going to ask her to marry me on graduation day! Yes, it's true, the-boy-who-lived is going to get married to the most beautiful girl in the world. You would be proud, I'm sure of it.
Tell Mum up there…please. I hope you will look down on our wedding and watch…which I'm sure you will. (If she says yes...hmm I haven't even thought about what would happen if she said no...let's just hope she doesn't)
Wow, how easy a mood can change when in love. I am looking at the top when I was scared just moments ago. Oh, great. Now that I looked up it just reminded me of the whole scene again.
I know now how scared you were when Mum was in trouble…before this, I couldn't have even imagined how it would feel like…but now…
Anyway Dad, I wish you were here to meet her…you would be so proud. Say hi to Mum, Sirius, Remus and the others for me…I send them all my love.
