Akara nodded.
"All right, Neji. Go ahead. After that, leave it to me."
Neji jumped high. In mid-air he shouted: "8 trigrams, 64 palms!" he lunged at Kuro, and stuck out in a flurry.
Kuro was powerless while Neji completed his jutsu. After, he vanished in a puff of smoke.
Suddenly, a snake was wrapping itself around Neji's leg. He kicked it off. It flew against a tree and turned into a lion.
Neji's eyes widened.
"What is this?" he asked.
The lion leapt and barely grazed Neji with it's claws.
It then turned around and pounced again, this time landing on top of him, and turned back into Kuro, a kunai knife in his hand.
It was knocked out of his hand a second later. Akara stood there, glaring at him.
"So, you can turn into animals at will? Impressive kekkai-genkai you have there." She walked forward coolly. The sake had finally worn off.
"You're the perfect tool with which to train my students. Lee! Now."
From behind Kuro, Lee flew down in a series of kicks too fast to keep track of. Kuro defended all of them. Shikamaru used the distraction to use his shadow possession jutsu. Kuro dodged it as well, landing on another tree.
"You're pathetic." He sneered at them.
"You'll never get away with that package."
Akara decided it was time to step in.
She appeared behind him.
They fought for five straight minutes, hand to hand, kunai to kunai. By the end Akara was panting, and Kuro still had tons of Chakra.
"Let's end this now." She said, creating several shadow clones.
"Shikamaru! Again!"
Shikamaru cast his jutsu.
"Lee! Neji. From both sides!"
Kuro was now completely occupied. Akara got close enough and surprised him with a solid punch in the face. He flew back a few feet, turned into a hawk, and flew away.
"Good teamwork." Akara grunted. They continued on their way.
They finally reached the leaf village and delivered the package to Tsunade. The Hokage was pleased.
"Next time," she said, "Lay off the sake."
