Summary: The Doctor and Rose visit the future but there are a few problems. The moon is full- and they don't realise. The Doctor is having trouble with his lycanthropy and someone is using that against them! 10Wof+Rose. Lycan! Follow-on.

The TARDIS doors shut behind them with a reassuring click. Smiling the Doctor, he grinned back, pulling her onwards. "Why do we always go to villages now?" She berated him. He shrugged, smiley s ever. Since his change from werewolf to lycanthrope, he had had violent moodswings; happy at first, then suddenly moody and oppressive, and then seemingly angry and more prone to snapping. This was going to be a problem; she knew it was the lycan at work on him, trying to overdrive his emotions, set off the transformation. And he was fighting with all his will. But it wasn't enough.

They had also lost their moon-chart. The Doctor's eyes now stayed brown permanently, never showing darkness with the oncoming moon. She wasn't sure whether to be happy or irked; this could swing either way. She hoped there wasn't a full moon tonight.

They headed into a thick woodland, the twisted boughs seemingly trying to grasp at them. Then Rose felt a cold, metal pressure against her neck and a hand around her throat. "Stop!" a high, cold voice ordered. The Doctor froze, turning to see her trapped there, terrified. "Not a move or the girl gets it!" the Doctor's anger was building up, a pounding inside his skull, fear and anger mixing together, exaggerated by the lycan in his blood. He felt the now-familiar itching on his spine. Oh, no…

CRACK! his jaw repositioned, him sinking to the floor on his hand and knees. Rose stared, terrified as he continued to transform in the woodland shadows, crying out in anger and pain. "He's the one!" cheered one of the men attacking her. And then, they leapt on the Doctor, who's eyes were his own. He snarled, leaping for the one holding rose. He swore and leapt away; but there were too many and they advanced. Rose felt it all go black.

Thin red blood vessels were just visable through his ears and slightly translucent pale skin, transforming unconsciously in the light of the moon.
