Title: Finality.
Author: JForward
Summary: Oneshot, a non-affective part of the WolfDoctor saga. The Doctor discovers a partial cure and he and Rose have some fun. Quite rude. –I may start another saga using this-
I don't own Doctor who, sadly.
"Yes!" Rose followed the sound of the Doctor's cheer, eventually pushing open the laboratory door. In amongst the bubbling bottles of chemicals, he stood, glasses on, holding up a vial of faintly smoking grey liquid. Rose strode to his side, noting the grin plastered across his face. "What is it?" she asks him, staring at the vial. He looks at her, grin widening further.
"It's a cure." She stares at him, open-mouthed. "You mean, it'll stop you being a lycan?" she asks softly, and he shakes his head. "Nah. Not all the way. But it DOES mean my bite isn't affective. I can't change people." She looked at him, hardly daring to believe it. "You're certain?" he nods, pulling her over to two little Petri dishes. He focuses the microscope of one and she looks. "See the little bone-shapes things?" she nods. "That was my DNA before I took this. Now-" he pulls her to another, as she muses how much cleverer than earth microscopes these are.
"They've changed. It's sharper than before. The ends are pointed" he nods. She understands. He has removed the bit that makes the dna transfer through blood and saliva. And other things.
"that means…" she turns to him, knowing he is unsure. "that I can do.. this" and before he can react, she presses her lips to his. He reacts, pressing his against hers, enjoying the taste of her cherry lip balm after so long, so much fear…
