On the planet called Mars there lived a race of human-like mice that enjoyed motorsports and had a culture and society that was very similar to that of humans.
When humans discovered these creatures they decided to fly to mars to learn from them and to also figure out what caused their evolution from simple-minded creatures to creatures capable of speaking and creating a civilization. When the thirty-two man team landed on the planet they were met with hostility at first, but were eventually accepted by the mice.
The commander of the army, Throttle, fell in love with the human scientist Alexis, and while his efforts to win her affection were in vain at first she eventually returned his feelings and two years later they were married. They had a daughter who, although being the child of a human and mouse showed no hint of her mouse heritage.
Approximately three years after the birth of their daughter the evil Catatonians launched a surprise attack on the planet completely wiping them out except for a handful of survivors, including Throttle, his wife and their daughter. In order to save his wife and child, Throttle placed them in a ship and blasted them to Earth while he stayed to fight the Catatonians.
Alexis never heard from him again, but in her heart she knew that she would see her husband again someday.
