Weird One 9999: This is my first attempt at a Jak and Daxter Fanfic. I don't own anything that's copyrighted by Naughty Dog or Sony so no sewing got it.
Chapter 1: Mechanical Failure
(Michael's point of View)
"I've finally done it!" was my first reaction. After months few intensive labor and frequent breaks to play my PS2, I have finally finished my virtual reality equipment for my PS2.
Allow me introduce myself, my name is Michael Skite. I am 16 and I live by myself on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, and I am considered a genius at computers in many circles. I live on my own because my parents tend to move a lot all year round, so they let me pick an area for my own stability, but that's enough about me.
As I hook up all the equipment, I feel excited since if it works, not only will I be happy, but also I can sell it to Sony and make some money on the side. I choose Jak 3 because well Jak X wouldn't allow me to test out most of the features of this system. As I put on the gloves and headset I feel nervous, I don't know how this will affect the human mind, for all I know playing games always like this could cause serious harm. I turn on the power, load up my file, step on the omni-directional treadmill and begin to play.
As I am rampaging through the port section of the city, I feel this huge jolt of electricity run through my body. I realize that there's an electrical surge in the real world and as all my hard work fries and I'm stuck in the current. I pass out. When I woke up, I took off the now worthless VR equipment. I look around and notice something on a nearby couch. As I walk over, I begin to notice that this something wasn't my friend or human for that matter. It was a man who had a green goatee, blondish hair with large green spots, and pieces of armor that he is wearing, and that's when I realize that Jak was passed out on my couch.
Weird One 9999: I know this was a very short first chapter, but I promise you all that the next chapter will be longer. I'd like to Thank GoodMorningBeautiful2005 as well as she is now my editor of this story. So tell me what you thought of the first chapter.
