Digimon Frankenstein
Metarmormon reminds them of the digimon version of frankenstein. And considering they've faced down Chimeramon, that's saying something significant. Especially since they have to retract the statement concerning the Kaiser's pet project and confess that seeing bits of digimon stuck together isn't quite as creepy as the monstrosity that had swallowed them up mere days ago.
Because Chimeramon, unstable as it had been, was at least recognisable in its component parts. Metarmormon was simply...hideous, like vomit with indistinguishable chunks and considering they'd been swallowed up into the monstrosity -
Except Daisuke, and he'd been infernally lucky to avoid that.
