This is my first time to do a story about Robin. Hope you like it! This is my original version of what happened. It will NOT be like the cartoon.

I ran through the empty streets. My heart was about to jump out of my chest. I needed to get away quick. I heard foot steps close behind me. Was this really the end? I turned a corner and ran into an old deserted building. I held my breath for a few moments making sure he was gone.

"It's over...for now." I whispered lowly to myself, and slowly sunk down the wall.

Slade had been chasing me. I had ran away. Ran away from being his apprentice. I was done with that, but where do I go now? I would have to turn a new leaf. Completely change. I took at deep breath, and rested my head on my shoulder, then soon fell asleep.

I woke up with morning light shining into my eyes. I slowly stood up. Slade wouldn't come get me in broad daylight. I walked out of the building and entered the busy town. I mostly just walked around town the whole day, trying to keep in bigger crowds, staying hidden. The sun began to set andnow I'm hungry.I sat down at a small pizza diner. I had just enough money to grab some pizza. I waiter walked over to me.

"Hey, I'm Victor, I'll be serving you today." He looked down at me and I glanced at my menu.

"I'll take a slice of cheese." I nodded.

"Yea, yea." he yawned snatching the menu and walking away.

"Psh. Jerk." I muttered under my breath. Looking around the busy diner. What was I going to do about Slade? How am I going to survive another night?

BAM!

I quickly looked up to see a slice of pizza sitting infront of me. He walked away, but I didn't really care I was too hungry, I haven't even ate for atleast a day. I took a large bite out of my pizza, and finished it quickly. I left the money on the counter, the diner was closing and I saw Victor, or what ever his name is eyeing me. I walked out, and a few moments later the guy did too. It had turned dark, and I was slightly worried about my situation.

I looked over to my side to see a guys in the shadows, He began walking towards me I slowly began walking the opposite way. The foot steps grew louder and it sounded like whoever it was,was running now. I broke out into a run, carrying myself as fast as I could go.

"Robin. Don't run!" I recognized the voice immediately as Slades and ran faster.

He tackled me to the ground. "Stop running from me Robin. I will get you. I all ways had. I always do. I always will." I lifted my self up.

"I don't let my ex-apprentices run freely. They know to much. You, Robin, know far too much for your own good." He snapped.

I look to my side for an escape plan but instead only saw a pair of glowing, green eyes.

"So you know what that means right, Robin?" he paused grabbing a sharp dagger out of his belt. I have to kill you." I pulled away from him, but his grasp was to tight for me.He lifted his dagger, but as he brought in down, a bright green laser knocked it out of his hand.

He looked around in alarm. "Who is that! Come out now! Show yourself!" He yelled, I could tell he was nervous. I green ball of energy hit him again, and he fell back. A figure flew over him and shot another one at him.

Slade pushed a button on his belt and disappeared. It was only a matter of time until he came back though.

I looked over to the person, and the person looked at me. "Who are you?" I said walking closer.

"My name is Starfire." She whispered.
