Warning
The night was clear and dark. The only light came from the brilliant full moon shining overhead. Two figures stood in the dark. One was human and the other feline with large wings.
"It will not be long now that destruction ravages the land."
"How can you tell?"
"I can smell the blood already… When the insane finish their time machine, blood will spill blood and death will rule the land."
"Hm. Never thought that little brother could be defeated so easily."
"If one controls time, one controls fate. He will bring two of the same into combat and only one can win."
"They do say the only one strong enough to defeat him is himself…"
"This means your doom also."
"That doesn't matter. I have to help little brother as much as I can."
"I can only hope I have sensed wrong. Good luck."
The feline flew off, silhouetted against the beautiful full moon. Grim tragedy would face the world only days later, and the world would find themselves without a hero.
Author's Note: As a nerd of the Megaman series, it always bothers me when people write about Megaman being killed by Zero. Though obscure, Megaman's death is explained in the Game Boy version of Megaman 5. Dr. Wily created a time machine, re-programmed future Megaman, sent him back in time and made him a Megaman Killer in the game. I know you can always say it is AU but for some reason that still bothers me… Sorry about random and pointless rant here, but I really wanted to get that off of my chest.
