"Jacob!" she screamed. She has been running through the woods. Looking for her brother and also running away from the village. The place where she called home, now filled with screams, blood, and fire. She always knew about them, heard in stories. Grandfather Bill, always tells about them. But she always thought that the stories were just legends. In other words not real. Never come true. But she was wrong.

Vampires has invaded her tribe, her home.

She run as fast as her legs could take her. Running bare foot made faster but she was leaving blood trails and a Vampire is following. Unaware of her surroundings, she trip falling head first. She fell with her head hitting hard on the ground. Then she felt it, the pain at her ankle that she choose not to think about when running through the woods, now it is added with a severe headache. She tried to get up. Kneeling all four, willing herself to strength her knees so that she can get up. Still on all four, she gapes as she felt a man's hand at her back. The hand was gentle, running along at her chilled spine, then that hand went around the back of her neck squealing as she screamed.

The pain was bad. She was shaking, weak, at the man's mercy. She want to plead, but she even open her mouth. Only gasping for air.

"You are not bad, in fact I dare to say that you are beautiful. Too bad, it really is" the man said. Then he move her head to the side, revealing her pale skin. He lowered his head and bit her. Hard. She meant to scream but it came a whimper. She could feel her blood living her. Leaving her cold and empty.

When the vampire was done with her, he released her body, letting it falling down lifeless. He is satisfied. This could take him weeks until he has to destroy little so call village. He turned and saw a wolf… no that, thing is much big than a wolf, way big. The vampire turned and ran but so did the wolf. They ran thought the forest passing and knocking off trees. They both have incredible speed, but the wolf was faster and it was catching up with the vampire. It was two feet apart from him, then it jumped, landing on the vampire shoulders. He tries to shake it off as he ran but can't. The wolf bit his neck and he screaming trying harder to get it off him. But it was too late, his head fell off his body which came to a full stop and fell too. The wolf was now on the ground with the vampire's body underneath its feet. It looked at the girl's direction. It couldn't hear her heartbeat. With eyes closed, he went to the other direction to where the survies are. Leaving the girl alone in the woods.
