Proms, Pink dresses, and a Bloody Knife
I sighed as I slipped on the ugly yellow dress. I hated it. It was just so... not me. I turned around for my best friend, Alyeen. She gushed, "It's marvelous!"
"No it's not, Alyeen. You know I hate yellow."
Just then, I spotted a amazing dress! It was lime green and it was just...wow. I knew Alyeen wouldn't like it because she said I looked better in softer colors instead of bright. I didn't care. I just strutted to the dress and proundly flourished it out.
"What about this?"
"Ginny! You know what I said! Did you even hear me?"
I didn't even hear her. I just went in the changing room and tried it on. I looked for a pair of matching shoes and found some. I gasped. I did look like a princess.
"Alyeen. Come quick!"
"Ginny? What's wrong?"
"Nothing! Just come on!"
" 'Kay. I'm coming! Calm down!"
The look on her face was so hilarous, I could've burst out laughing. But I didn't. I didn't even see her!
"Whoa. That's...wow! You have got to buy that dress. Ugh. How much is it? I only have 1,000 dollars left! And I've been saving up my whole life, just working and working and working!"
I quickly checked the price tag. It was only 80$. Not bad.
"It's eighty dollars. The shoes are twenty dollars. It's not bad. 100$ in total. Anyways, you already bought your dress. It's not bad! You'll still have plenty left over!"
"Hmph. Fine because the dress looks amazing on you. But on one condition."
I sighed. "What?"
"I get to do your hair!'
"Awww, come on Alyeen. Why?"
"Because I know a amazing hairstyle that would look amazing!"
"Wow. That's the first time I have ever hear you say amazing in a row."
"Come on Ginny! Stop changing the subject! Pleaseeeee?"
"Gahh. But you know I'm going to regret it."
"Yes! Come on! Prom starts in seven hours!"
"Whoa, wait. What excatly do you have planned for us?"
She replaced her grin into a smirk.
"You'll see. Come on!"
