A new arrival at the house of night
Zoey's p.o.v
I'm slumped down on my bed when I hear a soft knock on my door, I shout
"Come in!" And slowly a meek looking Stark enters my dorm room. He whispers
"I'm sorry I know I'm not supposed to be in here but Neferet wants you outside and just to warn you she's looking very impatient." I nod and slowly heave myself out of bed, as I straighten up I wince; it is so horrible hearing your own back crack like that!
Stark's p.o.v
As Zoey walks to the bedroom door her dark hair flowing behind her she gives me a quick peck on the cheek, she looks dishevelled but to me she is as beautiful as a cloudless night sky.
"Thank you for coming up yourself to tell me, it was sweet of you, " she says and I blush crimson with embarrassment
"It was nothing…..don't mention it" I mutter under my breath as she sachets out the room
Zoey's p.o.v
I walk through the corridor and smile at some of the girls who wave at me from the marathon of friends episodes that they're watching. I wonder where my friends are and then I remember, oh yeah! They're at the movies watching the new twilight film, ironic right! I stayed behind because I was tired from all the dark daughters practice I have been doing. I walk out of the door and am immediately smothered by the arms of Neferet, she is being the mother figure I have grown so used to in the past month I have been here at the house of night. I don't buy it though, Neferet has been acting all strange lately and I don't know why? But I put the disturbing thought out of my head and plaster a smile on my face.
"Hi Neferet" I beam.
"Oh Zoey you are just the person I have been looking for, if you would just follow me to the cafeteria, I have someone I would like you to meet." And saying that she spins around, her beautiful auburn hair flowing around her and strides off. I nod resolutely and follow her to the caf.
When I get to the cafeteria Neferet shouts at the two burly vampire males standing next to the door to let her in. I'm wondering who exactly she is when a chocolate coloured girl with the darkest hair I have ever seen even on Shaunee bursts into the room, a huge smile on her face. The girl runs up and almost crushes me in a hug; "wow that girl is strong for such a small person!" I think. Looking slightly uncomfortable Neferet announces.
"Zoey, meet Storm."
"Oh my gosh! I am so excited to meet you its so wonderful to meet such a celebrity….. Oh I am sorry that must have been very rude of me so let me introduce myself properly again, hi my name's storm, I changed it from Lisa Maugham because I thought that just plain old Storm would give me edge."
"Well it certainly does." I say trying to sound all grown up.
"Oh thank you I am grateful," gushes storm.
"Well then lets get to showing you around" I say and with that I turn around and walk out with an excited Storm on my tail.
Storm's p.o.v
As I followed the amazing vampire/fledgling with the amazing vampire tattoo I looked around and whisper to myself.
"If I survive my change then I am not leaving this place EVER!" I spoke to Zoey and said,
"I think that your vampire tattoo is wonderful and amazing,"
