Since the beginning of time, the Lewitz and Barclay mafias have been in opposition.
Recently, however, cooler heads prevailed, and the leaders began to talk peace.
The main problem were the different cultures between the two mafias. Both the mafias were run by evolutions of the ralts family. However, the Lewitz family was run by gardevoir, while the Barclay family was run by gallade.
Both families agreed that an arranged marriage was due, and the leaders put forth their children.
Three months into the talks, Casey Lewitz and Micah Barclay officially became mates.

As they were walked to their bedchambers, Casey Lewitz-Barclay was in a whirlwind.
Micah was everything a gardevoir could look for in a mate. He was charming, intelligent, and humble. He was a classic gentleman, as well as humble and kind.
However there was a small problem with their arranged marriage. The terms of the marriage were that the two would have children, at least one, in order to continue the legacy of the mafia.
And let's just say Casey would have…problems…having children

"Hey, Casey?"
"Yeah?" Casey looked at Micah. They had been sitting awkwardly in the elegant suite for the better part of the last half-hour.
The gallade was sitting on the edge of the bed, arms crossed. There was a troubled look on his other pristine face.
Casey glid over to him and sat down. Micah looked at her guiltily. "I… have something to tell you."
She stretched over and put her hands on his hands. "I also have something to tell you."
Micah shook his head. "This… this is different. It's that…" He faltered, seemingly doubting himself. Casey carefully embraced him. Micah looked surprised, but hugged back. "It's okay", she whispered in his ear.
Micah relaxed. He broke the embrace and looked at her earnestly. "I… I'm gay."
Casey's expression flashed between shock to confusion. "What?"
Micah had the decency to look ashamed. "It's kind of hard to describe… it's like a psychological thing, but…"
Casey's eyes glowed light blue as she entered his mind. "You… you really do love me, but…you… yeah, that is really confusing, but basically you can't like me because I'm a girl? That is pretty weird…"
Micah rubbed his head. There was a pillow stuck on one of his elbow blades.
Casey moved closer to him, and kissed him on the cheek. The gardevoir hovered upward and then landed… straight on his stomach. Micah grunted a little as he fell onto the bed. "Hey, what the…", Micah cut himself off as Casey leaned forward so she was on top of him. He went slightly pink. "Casey, what the heck?"
Casey blushed a little. "I… I have something to tell you to." Casey smiled a bit. "I'm actually a dude."
Micah looked at her, sorry, him, in disbelief. "Wait, seriously?"
Casey giggled. "Yeah. Since my mom was the leader of the mafia, and I was an only child, she had to pass me off as a girl. When it came time for me to evolve, she refused to give me a Dawn Stone, and… well, this happened." He levitated back up, doing a pirouette. "So… what do you think?" Casey floated back down to the bed, a worried look on his face.
Micah didn't move for a couple of seconds. Then, he literally tackled Casey, bringing them into a full-body embrace. They both froze, both of their faces literally centimeters away from each other.
Casey gently laid his hand on Micah's face, and slowly, they kissed.

"Casey!"
"Coming, Micah!"
Micah smiled as his husband slid gently down the stairs, gracefully coming up to him and kissing him on the cheek.
The Lewitz-Barclay Alliance had held true for the past three years. Eventually, Casey's little secret got out, leading to the second marriage between the two clans, and Micah and Casey were off the hook, in terms of making a family.
And everything was perfect. Just perfect.
