This is a short scene that I created involving the Eastenders E20 crew leon, zsa zsa, fatboy and mercy, but only leon and zsa zsa are in it. This is my first ever piece so i would appreciate feedback and what people thought of it, and how i can improve. Enjoy...
"Hey!" I shouted after Leon.
He turned around replying with a quiet "hey".
"Have you been avoiding us or something", I joked, me, along with Mercy and Fatboy, hadn't seen Leon in a week.
"Just been busy" Leon replied, backing away, "Look I've got to be somewhere so I'll see you late k?"
"Are you ok?"I asked him surprised at his attitude.
"Yeh I'm fine, just busy so-", I cut him off.
"What happened to your face?" I asked him in shock as I walked closer towards him, I noticed a dark shadow across the side of his face, with a cut on the lower right of his lip.
"Just boxing-" his attention seemed to be behind me as he kept looking over my shoulder.
"Leon I'm not stupid, I know your lying", my expression softened, "who did this to you".
"What are you doing here?"
"What?" I asked, confused now, I turned to see a man standing behind me.
"Who's that?" I asked Leon.
He let out a deep sigh, "my dad"
"Your dad?"
"Yeh, can I have a private word with my son please? He asked politely.
I looked to Leon, asking for his approval to leave, or stay. He seemed torn.
I nudged him, "I can stay if you want me to?"
He shook his head "what do you want Dad? Money? I haven't got any, I told you that last week."
"I just need a little bit Leon, please?" He asked desperately.
"I'm not going to help you drink yourself to death Dad"
"I think you should leave" I said to Leon's Dad, as he shot a worrying glance at me.
"Stay out of this" he snarled.
"Shut up Dad- or can I even call you that anymore? Ever since mum died-"
"Don't talk about your mother-"
"Ever since she died have treated me like I'm nothing- like I only exist when you need me to, like for money or something. I'm sick of it. You're a crap Dad and I need you to stay out of my life for good."
At that, he threw a punch at Leon.
"Hey!" I cried at him, "Leave- now" Fury was pulsing threw my body.
"Just leave Dad- for good", and Leon's dad turned and walked away and as soon as he was round the corner, Leon was gone too. I had to find him.
