Shikamaru rang the doorbell of the Kazekage estate. He stood there wearing a dark blue suit with a matching tie and a dozen red roses

in his right hand. Again, he rang the door bell. The door was opened by Gaara who was supurised to see the genius at his door. "What

do you want?" Gaara asked. "Me and Temari are going on a date," Shika replied. "Oh, yeah," Gaara said emotionless. He gestured for

Shikamaru to come inside when Kankuro came to the door. "Who's at the door,Gaara?" he asked. "That Nara kid from Konoha. He's

here for Temari,"Gaara replied. "Well let him in," Kankuro said with a smile. Gaara nodded and moved out of the doorway to let

Shikamaru in. "Where's Temari?" Shikamaru asked poliety. "Temari!!!! Get down here!!! Your boyfriends here!!!!" Kankuro yelled.

"Tell 'em I'll be down in a minute!!!!" Temari yelled back. "Okayyyy!!!!!!!" Kankuro scr eamed at the top of his lungs. "She said she'll

be down in a minute," Kankuro told Shika in a more calm voice. "You can wait in here," Gaara said, pointing to a room the looked like

a den or living room. Shikamaru went into the room and sat down. sigh Temari is so troublesome. She said she'll be ready when

I get here. Gaara and Kankuro walked into the room where Shika was waiting on Temari. "Is she ready?" Shikamaru asked. "No,"

Gaara said. Kankuro dimmed the lights in the room. "Uhh, what are you doing?" Shikamaru asked about to panic. "We have a few

questions for you," Kankuro said in a low, dark tone. Shikamaru squirmed in his seat. "What are your intentions with our sister?"

Gaara asked. "We're going on a date," Shika said calming down a little bit. "Where?!" Kankuro exclaimed. "T-to dinner, at the umm

Rose Garden," Shika shuddered. "Pretty expensive," Gaara began. "Where did you get the money?" "The Hokage," Shika said," She

payed me extra for the last mission I went on." Kankuro smaked his hand up against his forehead and murmmed, "Exactly."

"Ummm are you guys done?" Shika asked. Gaara looked at Kankuro and nodded. "Your good to go, Nara," said Kankuro. Just

remmember, don't hurt our sister." "Or we're gonna hurt you," Gaara added. Shikamaru sat in his seat still waiting on Temari when he

heard a voice. "Shika!" Thank God! he thought. Shikamaru quickly got up and hugged his GF. "These are for you," he said handing

Temari the roses. "Aww Shika! There so pretty. Thank you," she blushed. "Aww Shika," mocked Kankuro. Gaara snickered. Temari

gave her brothers a harsh look. "Put these in some water will ya?" Temari nagged. Gaara grabbed the roses and scampered to the

kitchen where he filled a vase up with water. "You ready, Shika?" Temari asked. Shikamaru nodded. Temari waved goodbye to

Kankuro and shouted "I'll be back by 11!" As the twosome walked down the road Shikamaru sighed. "You family is troublesome."

Temari just smiled and replied, "Where do you think they get it from?" (A/N: I'm guessing you, Temari! )
