Title: Petals of a Flower
By: DarkNightDreamer
A/N: Heh. Blame the flower pot sitting on my desktop. With a pretty flower in it, of course. Uh oh. It's wilting now. Noooooo!

Summary: Kunoichi, no matter what they lead you to think, are not weapons of mass destruction. In fact, they are the petals of a flower. Four petals, four glimpses.
Petal One: Hinata
She was Hyuuga Hinata, First Born of the Main Branch Family.
A.k.a. Weakling of the Bunch, as the Second Born Hyuuga Hanabi of the Main Branch Family sometimes dubbed her.
Teasing, of course, she would never forget to hastily add when caught.
But beneath every just kidding, there was a foundation of truth.
And Hinata didn't deny it.
She knew.
Everyone knew.
Too embarrassed to look into her elder's, or even the younger one's bottomless white eyes, she let her azure fringe deftly block her line of vision from eye contact with the other, and slip out of sight nearly unnoticeably if only not because of the all-seeing Byakugan.
She was undeserving of the Main House, she knew that least one person thought so in the Hyuuga clan, and she personally knew one too.
It was hard on her sometimes.
No one understood how she felt, and no one tried.
She had the Byakugan too! She developed new moves on her own—she belonged to a genin team! Why was she not an equal?
She knew the answer, but she couldn't resist asking more questions.
Weak, weak, weak.
Now, she shook her head to clear her thoughts, and stepped into the Jyuuken stance.
She was going to train. She was going to train.
She was going to get stronger. She was going to get stronger.
She was going to show them.
Boy, was she going to show them.
She smirked.
Be strong, be strong, be strong.
A/N: Hope you guys liked it. '' A bit weird, but it couldn't be helped. Don't forget to review! .
