Sasuke and Naruto didn't fight the final fight in the valley of the end, but they fought right then and there.
Don't be confused by the title. Naruto doesn't die!!
Our mistakes, our end
"Sasuke, why do you do this? Are we nothing to you?"Naruto yelled in anger, at the Uchiha, who he was pinning to the ground right now.
"Why can't YOU understand? You were the best example. Itachi was hated by the village, and he was the true hero!"
Sasuke yelled back in anger, he was worn out, so was Naruto but he still had the kyuubi's chakra.Well not all of it, but enough to kill the Uchiha.To stop the Uchiha's pain.

"Ugh, I don't know anything about your brother but why are you doing his you keep on destroying like some idiot.You are a Uchiha after all!" He yelled. He didn't mean to insult the Uchiha's name, but it slipped out.
"YOU SEE? YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MY BROTHER! HE DIED FOR THE STUPIDY OF KONOHA! MY FAMILY DIED FOR ALL OF IT!" He yelled loosing his cool.
...I want to see them again...my family...
The yell chought Naruto of guard but he didn't show it.His fist just clenched thigher around the Uchihas arms.
"SHUT UP! YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY! YOU ARE A KONOHA NINJA! WE ARE YOUR FAMILY!" Naruto yelled, expecting a yell from the traitor. But he was again, chought of guard.
"..no..you're wrong...Konoha ruined my life...it lied to me since I was eight..It isn't my home...Naruto, I have no home. I have no family...
Naruto tried to understand.He really did. But he couldn't understand how Sasuke could be so cold towards Konoha. They did it to protect him from hating his home. And he was his friend.He had them.They were his family!
"Ugh, you bastard, Konoha did it to protect you-"
"from what...the cruel truth...that could have saved my brothers life...Naruto..my brother died because of me...because Konoha didn't tell me the real reason why my Aniki did it."
" They could have seen you as a hero! If you just stayed here like you were supposed to! But you were a idiotic selfish bastard!"
"Then kill me ,Naruto.."
This was the last thing Naruto expected from him.And of course he wouldn't kill him! He was just sprechless.
"S-Sasuke-kun! I-why-how-..w-why,"
Sakura cried.Expecting a Unswer.
But he didn't even bother to say anything.
"You teme! As if you Uchiha Sasuke would let yourself die by YOUR choice!"
Naruto said disbelievingly.
"I rather die by you..than by suicude, Naruto..."
Naruto couldn't belive what he just heard. It must be some cracked up dream! No-a nightmare!
"W-What are you talking about teme?"
Then he suddently smirked. Not a evil smirk. No. it was rather a moking, teasing smirk.
"Oh, so you won't avenge the Hyuuga? Remember how I killed him?"
(NEJI DIED BY SASUKE AND NOT PROTECTING NARUTO)
Naruto went from confused, to furios.Sasjke must have planned to act like that! To catch him of guard and then hurt hima nd kill him.But he won't let him do that!
"You bastard!"
He punshed him in the face, causing him to spit out some blood. Not much but it confused Sasuke, that he liked the feeling...the feeling of not emotinal pain...
So he wanted more...he knew that cutting stopped working...so he craved for more physical pain...and Naruto was the easiest to bring him to that..
...and he might even free him from his pain...
So he smirked again.Thinking about how to bring the blond to kill him.So he had a idea.
"or...do you remember how you threw your life away for me..you could be hokage..but the only hing set on your mind is me..bit what do I give you? excectly, nothing. I don't even give a fuck about you or any other of YOUR friends.Was it really worth Naruto? Was it?"
Naruto slowly begann shaking from rage.
He couldn't controll it. The Kyuubi did it. The Kyuubi was the most hurt, these words from that brat hurt his pride but also the blond idiot who couldn't see through the Uchiha. But no one could. Everyone just saw a selfish bastard, who was arrogant and didn't care about others.
So he instantly lifted his arm.The Kyuubi gave him too much chakra in his arm so he couldn't stop it, it was like he couldn't control his body anymore.
So he closed his eyes, trying to somehow controll the Kyuubi.But it was a big mistake. His eyes snapped open as he heard a loud bloody scream from the Uchiha. He looked down and saw that he punshed trough the Uchiha's chest and he gasped. He didn't want this!
He pulled his fist out fast. Mistake, more blood pured out of the Uchiha's chest.He
panicked.
"S-Sasuke-kun!" Sakura cried and then just collapsing, cryind like she never cried before. Her Sasuke-kun was dead...
Naruto looked at Sasuke's face. The red blood, leaking out of his mouth as he got more pale every second.
"S-Sasuke I-I...I..."
But he got confused as Sasuke cuckled.
"Y-you a-r-re s-so eas-sy to ma-nipul-late Naruto." He choughed up more blood." I said it s-so you c-could kill me.."
Naruto just stared. He wanted Sakura to heal Sasuke. To fix HIS mistake! It was a accident! It wasn't meant to happen. They were meant to get Sasuke back home, amd not drag his corose back to Konoha. Slowly tears could be seen in his eyes.
"N-no Sasuke, y-you were supposed to come back..back to Konoha. I'm so sorry Sasuke!I failed you!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry" he sang while crying.
But Sasuke just chuckled..well he tried but more blood came out.
"Y-y-you d-don't need to be sorry Naruto."
His eyes slightly closed.And Naruto stopped crying. A emotionless mask on his face.
"I-I want t-to see them a-again.You f-fred m-me from m-my pain Naruto. T-thank y-you"
His head fell to the side.He whispered,
"Y-you are my best f-friend... Arigato N-Naruto, and I-I'm sorry f-for e-everything I-I said... I-I hope you bec-come Hok-kage.
G-goodbye.."
With that he glaced to Naruto amd with the last strenght left he smiled.
A real smile.
And then it fell..just like the life the Uchiha once had left him.His pierced hearth gave out.
And Naruto just stood there. Thinking. About what Sasuke said to him.
"You are my best friend Naruto.I hooe you become Hokage."And then all the moments he spend with Sasuke flashed before his eyes.He good, the bad, and the sad moments...
...and how he could never tell his true love how he felt...
