There was once a beautiful goddess, loved by her fellow gods and mortals alike. They admire her for her strength, courage, confidence, intellect and beauty.
She was the goddess of Nature, the daughter of the King of the gods. She has long wavy brown hair adorned with flower and leaves. She is always seen with a sceptre which represents her symbol of power and place in the Heavens. Her father gave her a hand knife, with roses and vines wrapped around the hilt as a gift.
Being the most beautiful goddess, she was certain that all of gods are in love with her for they always go flirt with her except one.
It was the god of Spring. He was one of the gods that many admire. He has shiny ebony hair, kaleidoscope eyes and slight muscular build. Her first encounter with him was when one of her father's enemies kidnapped her, planning to overthrow the gods and rule the world. The goddess soon fell in love with the god, determined to win his heart.
Blinded by her love for him, she killed every beautiful human girl he set his eyes on or interest. One fateful day, she discovered he has a lover. A mortal lover. The goddess felt rage and jealousy clouding her judgement and heart which lead her to kill a whole village along with the woman.
The god wept for the death of his love. He had heard the deaths of the people in the village along with his lover. For revenge, he asked the King to punish the one who killed his beloved. The King sent for his guardians to find clues and witnesses of the killer. Going back to the place where the body lay dead, they discovered a knife. It's hilt is wrapped with roses, that is still stained with fresh blood. The Guardians look at each other with grim expression. They already had an idea who the killer was.
Once retrieving the knife, they presented it to the King and his face morphed in horror. His daughter, his sweet daughter. The one who had killed the innocent mortal women and maiden also the god of spring's lover.
The King immediately shouted to the guards to call her daughter and bring her to the throne room. The King didn't want to do this, but it was for the best. For the crime she had committed, she was punished for her sins sending her down to the Underworld forever living in isolation.
Her hair turned into blonde, she grew two horns from her head, her caramel eyes turned to crimson red and her pure white wings turned into dark. Her symbol of power was taken from her and replaced by the dagger which is stained by the blood of her victims.
The mortals stopped worshipping her and began to take down her statues. That was until she was given a chance to redeem herself. She was to protect the humans from the lurking evils roaming the earth. The King of the Gods stripped her of her goddess title and sent her down to the earth. Her memories were not erased for it is a price for her sins. Most of all, for the price of love...
She will always dream of the deaths of whom she had killed. She could only to turn back into her real form only under the blood moon.
This is the story of the Fallen Goddess...
The man closed the book and looked at the two girls sitting in front of him. The eldest, who is around 12 years old, had short curly platinum blonde hair and pink eyes while the youngest around 3 years old has shoulder length chestnut brown hair and brown eyes fringed with red.
"So, was the Goddess able to go back to Heaven, Father?" She asked to priest who had taken care of her since she was an infant.
"That I don't know, Yui. It was still a mystery if the goddess was able to go back." He said smiling at the two girls.
"Such a boring story! Father, read us about some awesome story! Not the ones with Princes and Dragons stuff." The child said jumping up and down the bed. The priest caught the little girl before she hurt herself.
"Now, Shira don't jump on the bed. I'll read you an awesome story next time, okay?" He said making the girl jump happily once again before getting scolded once again.
The priest went to the door and turn off the lights. "Now, good night children." He said as he is now outside about to close the door.
"Good Night, Father." They said in unison. Before he close the door, he once again opened it wide. Shira was about to go out of the bed.
"Shira, go to sleep." He said sternly at the little girl who pouted. "Okay.." She lay down and glared at the ceiling. The priest smiled and once again closed the door.
Peeking if he was gone, she then smile mischievously, climbing out of the bed and took the book from the table, hiding it somewhere in the room before climbing back to her bed to sleep.
Unknown to them, the book began to glow for moment until its glow vanished.
