Disclaimer: If I owned Hetalia Russia would be my husband.

Sabrina: Sorry Liet, you aren't marrying Belarus this time.

Liet: (cries and runs away)

Sabrina: um... on with the story! Liet! Wait! I'll pair you up with her later! Liet!

Fire and Ice

Belarus was like the coldest piece of ice in the iciest tundra. Her heart was frozen, but she just as beautiful as winter. She cared about no one but herself and her siblings. Natalia was very cruel to many nations, be it in the soviet union or not. She was as quiet as the winter breeze.

America was like a wisp of fire coming from the center of a volcano. He had a heart of gold and was as bright as the sun. Alfred had a fiery passion for many people, including those he hated. His hyper attitude brought any ones spirit up during any war. He was as loud as the summer thunderstorms.

It was the end of another meeting for the allied nations. As always, the countries had no idea what to do with the axis countries whatsoever. As Alfred got up from his chair he felt a large hand on his shoulder.

"What is it Russia?"

"I need a favor," Russia said. "Natalia has finally given up on getting me to marry her and now she's colder than ever."

" What do you need me for?"asked America, nonchalantly drinking his coffee.

" You like her don't you?" America froze and spit out his coffee. "I thought so",said Russia. " I need you to take her on a date tomorrow night. You'll do it, da?"

"B-but Russia I-"

"Please."

"...I'll do it."

The nations were at New York City for the world conference. After some arguing and harassment the countries decided to end the meeting early. 'Oh well here it goes' thought America, and walked up to Belarus.

"Natalia, will you go on a date with me?" ,said America, startling Belarus, making her lose her composure before calming down again.

"That's Belarus to you, idiot." said Belarus coldly, holding a knife to America's throat. "And why didn't you ask me before? Why now?"

America gulped nervously. "B-because I heard you gave up on Russia." 'Please say yes oh dear sweet George Washington say yes" chanted America in his head. Belarus thought for what seemed like an eternity to America and put away her knife. "Fine. Pick me up at four." Before America could speak again Belarus left the room, but when she did, Alfred swore he she her smile.

It was 3:58 and Alfred was as nervous as ever. He planned everything perfectly (with some help from France), a picnic in a meadow, candle light, a full moon- everything, but it all could be ruined by the clouds threatening to make it rain. Hesitantly, America pushed Belarus's doorbell.

"One second!"

Belarus opened the door. To say she was surprised was an understatement. America just shoved a bouquet of the most beautiful centaurea (national flower of Belarus) in her face. He was so embarassed America literally dragged Belarus to the meadow, but Belarus didn't mind, still dazed by the fact America really came. She thought he we going to leave her waiting for him. By the time they got to the meadow it started raining. The two ran to the nearest tree to stay dry.

" Listen Belarus, I know this didn't work out as planned and that you probably don't like me back, but I really like you and I hope you can forgive me-"

She silenced him with a kiss, and he knew under her cold facade she loved him back.

Belarus may have been ice, but a little fire is all it takes to make ice melt.

Sabrina: Don't worry, Liet is back!

Liet: Do you promise to pair me up with her?

Sabrina: Of course I will (in a few years)! I ship all pairings! (especially PruCan)

Sabrina: I feel like I rushed it. Please R&R and don't hold back on the criticism.

Russia: Don't worry. As long as you are one with Russia it's ok, da?

Sabrina: Exactly! ^_^
