Chapter 1 "The Beginning of an Electrical Tail"
It was a dark night over the small town of Pallet in the Kanto Region, of the Pokemon world. This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokemon and Humans, Humans have found a way to train and travel with Pokemon using Pokeballs. In Pallet Town the Kanto Region Professor, Professor Samuel Oak and His Grandson Gary Oak, and his Granddaughter Daisy Oak. But also Ash Ketchum a four foot eleven and thirteen year old boy lives here in Pallet, but tomorrow that changes, since he was Oaks Number two student him and the other top five students at Oaks lab will be given one of five Pokemon. Ash Ketchum lived with his mom Delilah and her , which she named Mimey, she also had her Oddish and its cousin Gloom, and lastly her Charmeleon.
Ash was only number two to Gary Oak himself, Gary Was about 5,3 and had brown hair just like Oak used to have back in the day, he wears a Pokeball top as a necklace and wears a dark blue shirt, and he wore skinny jeans and brown shoes. Student ranked number three was Jack, he had brunette hair in a jumbled mess he was only about 4,7, he wore a wife beater and loose jeans with tears in them, he also wore red and black shoes. The student with the rank number four is the only girl Misty. Misty had short orange hair with a ponytail, and she wore a light yellow shirt and overall shorts with blue and white shoes, she was about 5,5. Lastly Rank five was a arrogant snobby jerk named Damien, he had short blueish black hair with red goggles in them, and wears a pink shirt with a brown overcoat with blue jeans and pure black shoes. Ash had black hair that was spiked, he also had theses thunderbolt shaped birthmarks on his cheeks, he wore a black shirt with a white and blue overcoat and blue jeans, and also wore red and blue shoes, but he also wore an official Indigo League Master Trainer Hat, this hat was white with the Indigo League symbol in the center with red in the back and extended part of the hat.
The night before Ash was to get his starter he packed his bag with clothes, potions, status healers, Gameboy, Gameboy Games, Double AA batteries, food, snacks, water, axe, and some soda. He also went to bed 1 hour early at 9:00 PM instead of 10:00 PM. Early in the morning at 2:30 AM he awoke from a nightmare of this black figure with large white hair and Indigo colored eyes, it would chase him through the darkness. After awakening he heard a crash, he went downstairs to see the same large black figure with long white hair and Indigo eyes. He screamed, then Mimey came down and used its psybeam attack before the creature retreated.
"Ash what the heck were you thinking screaming like that?" Ashes mom asked scared half to death. "I heard a crash, so I went to investigate it and saw the shadow figure!" "Right Mimey?" Mime Mime! Mimey said in an agreeing way. "Well you're probably not gonna be able to back to sleep, so watch this VHS Oak gave me." Ashes Mom said tiredly. "Okay Mom, love you." "Love you too Ash." The VHS showed the five Pokemon Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, and Clefairy.
Ash got to the lad second right after Gary. "Looks like your second to me yet again ashy boy I got here first!" "Grrrr!" Ash replied. "Hey losers Damien is in the house, or should i say lab!?" "Looks like Damien is here!" Oak said, unenthused. "Hi guys, I hope i'm not the last one to the lab." Misty said. "Nope looks like i'm the last one!" Jack said jokingly. "Gary got here first so he picks first, but first lets see the Pokemon!" Oak said. "Go Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, and Clefairy!" Oak screamed excitedly. "Here everyone take 5 Pokeballs and a Pokedex!" "Bulbasaur is a grass type." "Charmander is a fire type." "Squirtle is a water type." "Eevee is a normal type." "And last but not least, Clefairy, another normal type." "Lets scan the Pokemon!" Ash screamed.
Squirtle. This Tiny Turtle Pokémon draws its long neck into its shell to launch incredible water attacks with amazing range and accuracy. The blasts can be quite powerful.
Charmander. A flame burns on the tip of its tail from birth. It is said that a Charmander dies if its flame ever goes out.
Bulbasaur. It bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The seed slowly develops. Researchers are unsure whether to classify Bulbasaur as a plant or animal. Bulbasaur are extremely calm and very difficult to capture in the wild.
Eevee evolves into one of three Pokémon depending on what stone is used on it: Using a Fire Stone will yield Flareon, the Flame Pokémon. A Water Stone yields Vaporeon, the Bubble Jet Pokémon. A Thunder Stone yields Jolteon, the Lightning Pokémon.
Clefairy. This impish Pokémon is friendly and peaceful. It is believed to live inside Mt. Moon, although very few have ever been seen by humans.
"I will Choose Squirtle." Gary said. "I would like Charmander." Ash Said. "Eevee, I guess." Misty said. "Bulbasaur." Damien said. "Then I get Clefairy!" Jack said. "Well now that everyone has a pokemon you may now leave and go on your very one Pokemon journey!" Oak said.
