AN:

Disclaimer: I under no circumstances own or will ever own Minecraft.

So. I'm pretty nervous about doing this. This is my first fanfiction attempt and I pretty sure not many people are going to see this or continue forward. But if you do I highly suggest you review as it gives me some sort of feedback particularly constructive criticism and or just plain feedback. I accept them both but no flames, flames are highly annoying and have no place in fanfiction but that's just my opinion. Anyways, NO FLAMES and review of your in free will. Also take note that the image and the title are both temporary. I'm still working on a legitimate image and the title searching is just a mess.

Without further ado, I present Minecraftia Adventures

*Edit*: The Image is permanent yet the title I'm still working on.

Chapter One

The Start of an Adventure

"Karin, what is the statistical chance of this operation succeeding?"

64.5%. Sir, I highly suggest we don't do this if this fails you will wipe out everything from here to City Hall.

Any normal scientist would listen to the highly advanced AI. In fact with those chances no normal scientist would even think about doing this, but Jonathan Smith wasn't a normal scientist.

"Despite your sentiments Karin there isn't enough time to wait. We have to do this now or my reputation is forever gone," the man said as he grabbed a pair of goggles to go along with his lab coat and bright blue pants. If he didn't complete his experiment today, the scientific community would take all of his lab equipment for his 'own safety' as the would say.

As he began to turn on the machine Jonathan began to remember why he was doing this.

When Jonathan first introduced his machine to the masses at the National Science Convention of America. He was laughed off the stage. The idea of interdimensional travel was too ludicrous to even the most open-minded scientist. Yet Jonathan was undeterred, until he had his lab taken away from him, his reputation thrashed on live television, and most of his family leaving him. Well except for his son. His son was the only one who believed he could do this and with that conviction, here he was in the basement of his house, preparing to complete one of the greatest triumphs of civilization.

"Karin, begin running diagnostic testing while I prepare to start-up the machine."

Sir, once again I am inclined to inform you of the dangers of this experiment. The casualty count if this fails is estimated at-

"I am WELL aware of the casualty count Karin. Trust me, I know what I am doing."

Yes Sir.

The basement room returned to complete silence.

Then after a few minutes everything was ready.

Sir, diagnostic test are complete.

"Great. We are ready to begin. Karin begin start-up phase one.

As the phase began strange things began to happen to the surrounding room. A weird eerie sound sounded throughout the house as it also began to shake.

"Phase 2!" Jonathan yelled as he began pressing buttons that meant something.

As phase two began the house shook even harder with many beakers toppling over. The sounds rang throughout the room with ever-increasing vigor.

Sir, this is my final warning. Once we go to phase 3, there is no turning back.

"I know." The man was holding onto the lab desk for dear life while the room was shaking. Yet ever so calmly, he took a deep breath.

"PHASE THREE!" He yelled.

The lights in the room snapped off and suddenly the room stopped shaking. All was quiet and after a few tense seconds a sigh rang throughout the room.

"Well, I guess this is another fail-"

*BOOM*

The man was knocked off his feet as the room exploded. Well more or less. The room didn't necessarily explode because at the center of the room was a wormhole.

Jonathan was shocked. His breathing increased in excitement before finally.

"YES! YES! I DID IT. I'VE FINALLY COMPLETED MY LIFE WORK. OH I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE LOOK ON MY COLLEAGUES FACE. WOO!

Wow! Sir y-you actually did it. I-I'll begin collecting scientific data now.

Jonathan, however, ignored her in favor of calling his colleagues. After a few seconds the phone finally picked up.

"Sam, I did it."

[What?]

"I finally did it."

As Jonathan relayed his revelation to his colleague, Karin, while examining the spherical wormhole, took notice of something unusual.

Sir, you should see this.

"Not now Karin."

But Sir

"I'm on the phone Karin."

What he didn't notice was the fact that all the beakers were lifting in the air. As the beakers were lifting Jonathan realized something.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! I forgot to account for the gravitational pull of the wormhole."

He put the phone away to see all the beakers slowly moving faster and faster into the wormhole. He saw a harness on the floor and strapped himself into it and attached it to the floor board as everything began to pick up.

"Karin. Shut it down!"

I'm trying.

Then the wormhole's gravitational pull took full effect. Everything began flying into it. Jonathan hoped the harness didn't break or the floorboards detach.

"Karin, how are we doing on the shutdown procedure."

The gravitational pull drowned out his voice.

Then someone came down the stairs. That someone was dressed in sleepwear which consisted of shorts and a T-shirt. It was Jonathan's seventeen year old son, Jacob.

The teen rubbed his eyes to wipe the sleepiness out of it. He exhaled before saying,"Dad, the neighbors are complaining about the sha-"

The teen stopped in his tracks at the sight of what was in front of him. His dad attached to the floor with a harness and a large wormhole pulling in everything. It was at this moment that the laws of physics decided to come into effect for him.

The strong gravitational pull lifted the teen into the air. He grabbed the rail of the stairway but that broke with ease. He began to slowly move toward the wormhole against his own will but soon he began to speed up as he moved closer.

"Jacob!" Jonathan yelled as he saw his son moving into the wormhole, "Karin Shut it Down. My son he's-

I'm trying sir! The amount of power the wormhole posses it's too much to try to take control of.

It was these words that made Jonathan realize his critical mistake. He had put

his mission over his own son and now he was going to lose him.

"Dad! Help Me."

"I'm sorry," Jonathan said as tears streaked out of his eyes.

Jacob's yells for help soon quieted down as he disappeared into the wormhole. Then the wormhole collapsed on itself and disappeared.

As everything quieted down numerous reports of mysterious sounds coming from the Smith Household warranted a police response. The officers swarmed the building and came upon a broken shell of a man who had lost his son.

I'm Sorry Sir.

The officers began to arrest him.

Meanwhile

"My lord. He is here."

A dark figure stood up from his throne.

"Good."

"Let the Games Begin."
