"Finally." A sinister voice calls from nowhere. "After all my struggles, I can wipe one element off the map." Amon steps out of the shadows and stares down the four benders kneeling before him. Their faces are downcast; their bodies still weak from being electrocuted. The chi blockers hold their arms and watch as their leader walks to the smallest airbender. The little boy stares at Amon's shoes before lazily lifting his head up to look at the masked face.

"Korra's gonna come and kick your butt then she gonna put you in time out Mister!" The little boy yells boldly.

"I don't think so." Amon states as he begins to walk behind the boy.

"Meelo?" Tenzin says wearily tilting his head to see Amon standing behind his child with his thumb on his little head. He tries to move but his body is still stunned and frozen into place.

"What are you doing!" Meelo screams. "Unhand me strange people! I'm gonna-"There is a hitch in Meelo's breath and he falls forward. The chi blockers let the boy slam to the floor and watch as he breathes heavily. Meelo groans as he lies on the floor weakly. His wide grey eyes are now formed into tired slits. They are filled with hurt, something that normally can't be found in those young eyes.

"Meelo!" Tenzin tries to shout but his voice is so feeble and all that comes out is a whisper. Amon moves down the line to the next little victim.

"No, no, no, please scary man don't take my bending away! I haven't done anything bad I promise! I won't hurt a fly! Please, please!" The girl begs desperately. She wiggles in the chi blocker hold trying to break free. Then she looks down the line to her father. "Daddy! Help me!" Tenzin rustles around in the grip of the chi blockers but his body fails him and he hangs limp once more.

"Ikki I'm sorry." Tenzin whispers. Amon places his thumb on Ikki's forehead causing the girl to scream. She thrashes around wildly wanting to be free.

"Please! Please don't do this!" Ikki screams as tears start to stream down her petite face. She never cries, but she has broken, cracked under all the pain. Her cries mean nothing to Amon and he continues, letting her body go weak as she too falls on the floor, like a wilted flower.

"Amon. Please stop." Tenzin whispers low voice. His head hangs low as tears threaten to fall from his eyes. "Stop." He pleads. Amon doesn't seem to hear as he moves along and stands behind the last child. She doesn't look up at the masked man, but keeps her head hung low and waits for what is undoubtedly coming to her. Amon grabs her by the hair and jerks her head up to face him. Big brown eyes greet him, filled with terror and sorrow. Amon doesn't falter to place his thumb on top of the girl's head.

"Jinora…" Tenzin weeps knowing that he failed to save his children. His body is so weak from the electrocution that he feels paralyzed. He feels like a failure, they need him and he prays for his father's help, but it doesn't come.

Tenzin watches as Jinora stares at Amon with wide eyes. She looks past the mask and into the eyes of Amon, wanting to know how somebody could be so cruel. Her joints go numb and the grip on her arms release and she falls to the floor with her brother and sister.

"You're a monster." Tenzin murmurs. Amon walks down to the last person in line and stands behind him.

"I am the solution." He positions his thumb on the master airbenders forehead. "And you are the only barrier in my way." He adds. Tenzin hits the floor with a thud and takes a gasp for air. And with that, it's gone. Forever.
