Alright I was reading Catching Fire and thinking OMP this would be so diffrent I was in here and I told Catnip somethings about the uprising

KATNISS POV

I walk to the little gray house in the woods. I'm to foggy to see the signs of it. Smoke rising from the chimney. And then the unmistakable sound of dragging behind me. I almost reflexively raise my bow and load an arrow then someone calls out

"Wait!" and comes out. The little girl that comes out is so much like Rue I drop my bow.

"Who are you?" I ask one of the questions on my racing mind. She giggles

"I'm Ruth, I'm one of Rue's sister, but people also call me Rue. I'm the one who made eye contact with you" She says with a smile. So she's alright I walk up to her

"Why are you here?" She sighs "I'm not sure where to go, I had to get away from 11 though." That raises my eyebrow

"You've been in other districts?" She nods

"Yes 8 was the worst." 8! She must know about the uprising!

"Why?" I ask a little to incceotly. "With the uprising. It must've started in a factory over there. People told me that you're victory tour were a rehearsal of some sort."She tells me. So all those kisses meant nothing.

"You like 12?" She nods at my question

"Yeah it's pretty nice." I roll my eyes then remember why I'm here.

"You hunt?" I ask expecting a no but she surprises me with a yes. "

Yep! I'm handy with a knife." I grin "Good." Then we hunt together. She's like Rue but has a boyish edge and can actually hunt. We take down some squirrels and a fawn. We make a small meal at the lake and eat peacefully. I see its turning dawn and I make up my mind.

"Wanna come back with me?" Her brown eyes widen

"Really?" I nod

"Yup! Come on!" I say then we walk back to the gate together and she puts her hand out in front of me.

"Crap, the fence has electricity." I get closer and hear it. Wow how'd she hear it so clear? I'm about to ask when I hear her panicking

"How are we going to get over?" She starts panicking. I look at the trees and start to climb.

"Come on" she follows me without a question. I jump over to one tree that has a branch the sticks out from over the fence. I go down to my fingers and gain up the courage to let go. I let go then there's the sensation of falling and then there's a pain in my tailbone and my left foot. I stand up and hold my arms for Ruth to fall in. She lets go and I catch her. She falls in my arms and jumps on her feet. "

Need some help getting back?" she asks and I shake my head.

"No, let's stop at the stores first though." I say then go in the apocthary shop and buy some bandages then go to the sweetshop and buy a bag of peppermints. I put on in my mouth and give one to Ruth. We walk to my house and I open the door and see two peacekeepers.

"There she is! With one of Hazelle's relatives!" My mom says a little too brightly. I was going to pull off my shoes as I normal do but I doubt I can do it without revealing an injury.

"Where have you been ?" The capitol lady asks sharply. Uh-Oh…..
